SA wait making me crazy

So we went to the clinic to do the SA and were told it would be 5-7 days before someone would ring us for the results, it was day 7 yesterday so we spent all day on pins and no one ever called, we called, emailed, left messages, still nothing, managed to speak to someone today to be told our consultant is on holiday so we won't hear the results until next Thursday, I'm so upset and frustrated, feeling sorry for myself, sorry needed a rant, do people not understand how important this is?!

Hi there. Yes, it seems we are the only ones that really care. I hope they call soon. I know there is nothing I can say to make them ring you any sooner, but just hate to see your message unanswered and you feeling alone when this whole ordeal is lonely enough already. I can't believe how hard it is for them to simply tell you the results. I mean, they test the sperm straight away before it dies. So if they have the test completed within hours, why does it take weeks to get the results? I can imagine how frustrating that must be

I take it you have been trying for a while if you are heading down the investigation route and getting an SA. I have been TTC for 4 years and have had 10 attempts at IVF in that time. So I totally get it and please feel free to rant away here if it helps. Helps me too!
