What could be going on ?

I'm around 10DO today, and since yesterday, I've been having heavy-ish spotting (almost like AF, but not quite)....its really weird, because yesterday was Day 24 of what is usually for me a steady 31 day cycle
Do any of you have any experience with cycle length varying like that ? I've never had a cycle end this early before....am disappointed, had a feeling this cyucle could have been the one ....

Implantation bleeding?

if it were that, it would be fantastic ! do you know if implantation bleeding can last a few days though ?

Mine lasted 2 weeks and was heavy.

The spotting seems like its getting lighter rather than heavier this afternoon, so maybe it is implantation ....keep the fingers crossed for me girls !

mrsfazruns, got a BFN this morning, but I'm still only 11DPO (and actually I'm not 100% certain of O date, i mightn't even be that).
Light spotting continuing (its more like dark-pink tinged cm today)

Hi - just wanted to say I'm currently going through something similar - at 7dpo I started spotting - this has been going on for 5 days now - that started on cd24 which has completely thrown me as I normally have 30 day cycles. I had a positive digital opk on cd17 so can't understand what has happened. It's so confusing and I feel lost, been ttc since June last year and giving up hope now

Mine lasted from Cd 24 until AF was due and I mistook it for AF. By two days post start of AF date and it had not gotten heavier. I tested and voila got my BFP. So In short I wouldn't rule your self out it might be implantation, fingers crossed

Really bumping ? What was your spotting like in those few days- I'd ruled out implantation as it has lasted so long

It's was streaky in CM, then had brown spotting, this lasted till a few days after my AF was due, was due AF on the thursday and didn't test until the Sunday as just persumed I was coming on! Then just had a feeling on Sunday 15th and got my BFP. I still spotted until a few days after that too which is apparently normal. It's all stopped now and I am 5wks tomorrow. What's yours been like? Fingers crossed it was implantation

Hi bumping af arrived in full force this morning so it must have been very long pre af spotting which is concerning. I just don't think it'll happen ever for me now.

Hi diamondsparkles sorry to hear AF arrived. I stopped the pill mid dec and did have random spotting in my two cycles before my BFP. I read its just hormones settling down. How long have you been TTC?ive got my fingers crossed for ypu next cycle x

BFP this morning, looks like it was implantation after all!! Spotting lasted 3 full days and had stopped by Friday evening.... Delighted, Thanks for all the info girls

Thanks bumpingalong, you too according to the NHS website, i'll be due December 1st!! Nice little early Christmas pressie if all goes well!
