Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

I'm out, AF showed at around 4am three days late.

epskie · 26/03/2015 07:29

Ah fuzzy big hugs and Brew and Cake for you, what a bitch xx

spring and Terry I don't think I'm working that site correctly - I've found it and signed up etc but I can't seem to find the symptom part - any ideas?

Mind, I've been dead felled with a horrible case of flu so any symptoms I do have, I feel I can't trust anyway.

Springflower3 · 26/03/2015 07:39

epskie I didn't sign up or anything? There is a toolbar along the top and it says symptoms i think I just clicked on it and then followed other links??

Pixa · 26/03/2015 07:45

I don't want to symptom spot. I am going to concentrate on dtd just incase I have ovulated later this month. At least EOD action. I can't keep going through the 2ww.

Jessica2point0 · 26/03/2015 08:28

fuzzy, that sucks. I feel a bit better today - just want AF to hurry up and go away so I can get started on dtd!

epskie, miu stands for milli International Units - so only really useful for comparing between tests. Hcg calculator, which tells you when you are likely to get a bfp depending on dpo and implatation date:

whenmybaby.com/implantation-doubling-calculator.php

This is the page for symptoms by dpo: www.countdowntopregnancy.com/early-pregnancy-symptoms/symptoms-by-day-past-ovulation.php

Thanks ladies, I've got it. Think this flu is sending me a bit doolally!

I don't want to symptom spot either but the obsession appears to have taken over me :-(

If you get a smiley face on your clearblue opk can you still ov late?

fuzzywuzzy · 26/03/2015 09:31

Thanks everyone, to be honest I've been feeling pretty unwell over the past few days I don't know whether I'm coming or going! At least with the clear blue trial I an POAS to my hearts content (within reason!).

Jessica I know what you mean, I want AF to be over so I can start again too.

Espkie, doesn't a steady smiley mean you have ovulated and should BD?

epskie · 26/03/2015 11:34

Thanks fuzzy yes, it does. Just paranoia stepping in again - I got my solid smiley last Wednesday and only managed to BD on Wednesday and Thursday due to teenager sleep overs and illness etc. So I was starting to think I might've missed it if I ov late. Just finding things to worry about Confused

Springflower3 · 26/03/2015 12:09

I am totally new this abbreviation what is BD??

epskie · 26/03/2015 12:28

spring it means baby dancing, same as dtd - doing the deed.

Springflower3 · 26/03/2015 12:31

Ha ha very good!!! How are u holding up epskie??

epskie · 26/03/2015 12:52

I'm just symptom spotting my arse off! Grin what about you? You still planning to test on Easter Sunday?

Woolly84 · 26/03/2015 13:00

Hi ladies!
fuzzy sorry to hear AF arrived, but yes onwards to the next cycle!
epskie I'm sure you're covered in terms of dtd as solid smiley usually means ovulation will happen within next 24hrs or so. Good luck!
I'm about 11 dpo today and no symptoms which makes avoidance of symptom spotting far easier Grin

Springflower3 · 26/03/2015 13:12

I really want to hold off!!!! But I can't say I will! I will admit I bout tests yest but I've put then away!!! Will u wait??

epskie · 26/03/2015 13:17

woolly I guess no symptoms does make no symptom spotting easier! Wink I feel I'm creating mine though!

I don't know spring I really want to wait but I'm already driving myself crazy. Mind, I'm sick with flu in bed so I've not got much to take my mind off it. I hope I'm ok taking regular paracetamol and brufen during the tww??

epskie · 26/03/2015 13:19

Which type of tests did you buy? Just out of interest Blush not that I'm trying to find out if you intend to test early!!

Springflower3 · 26/03/2015 13:41

I couldn't imagine it would be harmful?? Before finding out I was preg with my DD I was full drunk the previous week!! Psml!

I bought the first response 6 day earlier testing....... Because I'm not goin to test early or anything!!! Which do I get??

Springflower3 · 26/03/2015 13:46

Types sorry I mean you

wineandpopcorn · 26/03/2015 14:17

Bfn today Sad. But still got 5 days till AF is due so still a chance!

I use the internet cheapies, I have read good reviews on them!

browneyedgirl86 · 26/03/2015 15:42

Hi Ladies? Any room for another obsessive symptom spotter?

I'm usually a lurker on this board, ttc #1 since November. AF is due on the 30th but my cycle can be a tiny bit irregular!

epskie · 26/03/2015 15:48

Busted spring! I knew it! Just kidding, it's hard to wait. I have a superdrug own brand left from last time and a clearblue digital that one of the ladies on here sent me when she got her bfp. I'm desperately trying to not buy any more. Since I'm bedbound right now, I've been successful so far - go me!

wine you're not out yet! How many dpo are you? I agree re internet cheapies - they were most sensitive when I was looking for my post mc bfn. I was surprised to find out that the digital/early response ones are less sensitive than others! Shock

epskie · 26/03/2015 15:51

Hi Browneyed when will you be testing?

TerryTheGreenHorse · 26/03/2015 16:04

I've always found the cheapies good but this latest batch I have gave a few with shadowy lines.

I knew really that they should have been pinker but it didn't stop me staring at them under various lights! Grin

browneyedgirl86 · 26/03/2015 16:23

Hi Epskie, I'm going to test Monday (if I can hold out that long!)

Not really had that many symptoms, felt a bit sick, had some really intense vivid dreams, having to go to the bathroom more.
Will see what happens!

epskie · 26/03/2015 16:32

To be honest, the cheapies from poundland and similar shops are good too!

Those symptoms sound rather positive! Keep us posted Smile
