Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

Lols, fattyfishwife! My metallic taste is still hanging around, but totally convinced it's all in my head now. Really gonna try my best not to test tomorrow (11dpo). Defo gonna wait til Wednesday I reckon.

Need your advice posted on another thread it not a lot of traffic, took a PG test this morning and it looked negative, took it out the bin a few hours later and found this
So I took a OPK test because I had no PG test left and found a faint line?

The first one does look positive, but the time lapse confuses things. How long did you wait before putting it in the bin, did you leave enough time for a result to appear? The opk looks positive, you need more tests!!

Yes I left it about 8 minutes I'd say then chucked it, on my way to the chemist as we speak for another FRER my FMU in a cup waiting at home I'm not taking my eyes off the bloody thing this time haha! Wish me luck!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 23/03/2015 09:40

Maybe wait till Wednesday and retake the test. It's looking optimistic tho...

Remember with my first DC I went cross eyed trying to tell if there was a line or not it was so faint.
Then the morning/afternoon/evening/all night sickness hit and yeah confirmed I was totally upduffed

Proudmummy2456 · 23/03/2015 09:57

BFN. Sad

fuzzywuzzy · 23/03/2015 11:48

What dpo are you? Really think test againg after a couple of days.

Proudmummy2456 · 23/03/2015 11:49

fuzzywuzzy · 23/03/2015 13:33

So am I!
I'm waiting till Wednesday to test as well.

Proudmummy2456 · 23/03/2015 13:56

Aww got my fingers crossed for you aswell have you had many symptoms?

doomkittycleo · 23/03/2015 15:11

Can I join!!! I'm starting my 2ww today, dtd on Wednesday 18th March and Saturday 21st March got +ve on Saturday on cbfm , AF is due on Sunday 4th April. This is cycle 3 off levest pill.
This is the first month we've been able to dtd around O due to DP feeling it was too pressured.
Trying to not get hopes up but really want it to happen.
Trying to use reverse psychology by thinking if we get caught this month we'll have a December baby and don't want that. Of course I really do want it.

How does everyone else keep busy in the 2ww?

fuzzywuzzy · 23/03/2015 15:38

Proud I'm trying not to hope too much. I Am attempting to ignore everything really truly.

Welcome kitty good luck

Woolly84 · 23/03/2015 15:45

proud sorry for the BFN but remember so many people don't test positive until about 13 dpo. HCG levels double each day after implantation so those couple of extra days can make all the difference. Fingers crossed for you and fuzzy too! Smile
Welcome doomkittycleo! Smile Work keeps me busy usually during the TWW Hmm

temperamentalamongcorvids · 23/03/2015 16:19

proud early testing is so wearing. Back away from the tests with your hands in the air. Wink

Welcome doom

I'm expecting af today and have horrible cramps but no bleeding so far.

doomkittycleo · 23/03/2015 18:03

I've just realised AF will be due Easter Sunday. How nice would it be to get a bfp on Easter Sunday :-) new life and all that. One can daydream!

Proudmummy2456 · 23/03/2015 20:40

I've give up until AF is late, forgot how devastating it is getting that BFN is!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 23/03/2015 21:29

So af would appear to be late Hmm
Of course I could be a day out. But I had some ov bleeding (a streak in the cm) on Monday the 9th, so shd I count that as my ov date? If so this is 15dpo.

OP posts:
wineandpopcorn · 23/03/2015 21:29

I tested today and got a bfn Sad. I am only 6 dpo though so hoping it was just too early Wink.

Kitty, my oh also feels pressured during ovulation, of makes it much harder to get the timings right Angry.

temperamentalamongcorvids · 24/03/2015 06:56

wine that's sooooo early! 6dpo is the very early end of when implantation could happen, even if you are pg it won't show up on a test yet. Don't stress, try again in a few days.
I poas this morning. BFN. Af is now late.

OP posts:
wineandpopcorn · 24/03/2015 07:34

Ha ha I know, I couldn't help myself Grin.

Are you usually very regular temper? Fingers crossed for a bfp! What test did you use?

doomkittycleo · 24/03/2015 07:46

I know Wine ;-) these men don't always make things easy do they. He's been much more chilled this month though. Just gotta survive this 2ww now, agghh!

I will not obsessively look at mumsnet message boards, I will not obsessively look at mumsnet message boards. Doh, I'm on a mumsnet message board!!'

temperamentalamongcorvids · 24/03/2015 08:20

Can you two keep your blokes in the dark about when you ov? Mine doesn't need to know too much about fertile times etc, I just jump on him.

It was a fr and I do feel like I'm coming on now, shd have left it a few hours!

OP posts:
doomkittycleo · 24/03/2015 08:56

I never actually told him, he just figured it out because I was trying to seduce him every day.

fuzzywuzzy · 24/03/2015 09:09

I do not tell DP my timing, altho do fancy him like crazy anyway so he's used to being jumped on randomly(!) I can't let ttc make me crazy I know how I get when it's not happening.

I woke with the worst back ache, hurts to sit and I've been ill all weekend had a low level fever so slept all weekend. I'm falling apart.

Temperamental, have everything crossed for you.
