Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

Woohoo!! Congrats sleepy Grin Grin Grin

And welcome wineandpopcorn.

Hmm, I like trials fuzzy although agree that sounds like paranoia overload... Smile Might look into it though if only to save a few bob on tests!

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 19/03/2015 14:21

Well done sleepy! Did the clear blue and got 1-2 weeks pregnant. I know they're not better than the cheapies but just seeing the words makes it real! Good luck everyone xx

wineandpopcorn · 19/03/2015 14:40

Wow congratulations!

I have just signed up for the study Smile

FattyFishwife · 19/03/2015 14:47

i did the clearblue study before christmas. Its a bit of a pain as you have to collect your first morning urine in the bedpan thing they provide, test for ovulation (on certain days), then fill one of their jars up to the top, lid on, seal with special tape, fill in and apply the special labels, put it in the bag then in the box, fill in your daily diary, and fill in an intercourse diary......a bit manic if you are running late/busy mum trying to get kid ready and off to school.

You also have to keep your pee in the fridge, although i kept mine in the shed as i had no room for a lunch box full of 14 jars of pee!

BUT so worth it because you get many c/b ovulation sticks and about 3-4 pregnancy tests too.

Sadly they only needed me for one and a half cycles (probs my age!!) but they did 'pay' me with another box of 20 OPK's, which as you know, aint cheap.

on the whole a worthwhile thing, especially as you know that in a small way, its helping them develop better products for women like us xxx

FattyFishwife · 19/03/2015 14:47

and congrats to the BFP'ers xxx

lilyb84 · 19/03/2015 14:49

Haha, I think wee in the fridge might not be the best way of convincing my DH that I'm not obsessing about this conception malarkey Wink

fuzzywuzzy · 19/03/2015 14:59

wonder if I could use the salad drawer for storing 14 jars of wee.... DP would just take it in his stride I reckon, he let's me get on with most things without batting an eyelid.

I'm also only doing the trial for one cycle, it's extended if I fall pregnant during it.

Jessica2point0 · 19/03/2015 15:24

Congrats on the bfps! How many dpo were you when you tested, and had you had any false negatives?

I've just signed up too - hopefully I won't be able to do it though because I'll get my bfp this cycle!

gakay · 19/03/2015 16:08

Congratulations on all the bfps!

temperamental could it be IB?
My AF is still not in full flow and bfn this morning. Tiny secret part of me is hoping that my 2 days of pink and today's spotting is just IB called my trial midwife who's basically told me it's either AF or IB. Will see what happens tomorrow.

temperamentalamongcorvids · 19/03/2015 16:57

I guess it could be, gakay. Tho when I had IB in a previous pregnancy it wasn't like this. I'm sore too.

Exactly.

I've had a false negative the first time we ttc. It was at 11 dpo. Tested again at 13 dpo and bfp. I'm dpo 13-14 just now and seems very positive! Don't know whether it's worth testing again in few days to make sure!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 20/03/2015 16:06

How is everyone today? Confession: I poas. Negative obviously. And so stupid, when I think about it, I've never actually had a bfp before af was due. 11dpo todaY.

OP posts:
gakay · 20/03/2015 16:17

I'm still only spotting and another bfn - Cd27 and 13 dpo so chance of success is very low now and just can't wait to see af so I can start again.
temperamental fingers crossed for you

Proudmummy2456 · 20/03/2015 16:55

Just got BFN at 8DPO AF due next Wednesday will test again on Tuesday/ Wednesday if AF doesn't arrive before

Jessica2point0 · 20/03/2015 17:24

I'm doing pretty well today. Had a crazy metallic taste for the last few days, but got that last cycle too, so I'm not counting it as a symptom! Very nearly POAS this morning, but I'm determined to hold out for at least another few days.

Staying at mums tonight (girly night in) and not taking any tests with me, so that should get me through until at least Sunday.

I have my mantra to help me: average time for a bfp is 13.6 dpo.

gakay · 20/03/2015 17:42

Was on my way to meet my research midwife to get more sticks and hand in my monitor with 3 cycles of data but got sexual harassed on the bus Angry police got involved and end up missing the midwife. Am not happy!!!!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 20/03/2015 20:34

gakay that is awful! Hope you are ok, are you home now? Have a relaxing weekend, nice tea, chocolate, wine, whatever you're allowing yourself. I'm having a g&t, sure it's not my month!

OP posts:
wineandpopcorn · 20/03/2015 21:01

Jessica2point0 · 20/03/2015 21:33

fuzzywuzzy · 21/03/2015 10:31

gakay hope you're ok.

Hope everyones good this morning.

I have a near sontant stitch on my left side and errr when I go to the loo it's green!!!!

Jessica2point0 · 21/03/2015 10:48

My cup of tea this morning made me throw up. Only 10dpo tho, so still too early to test. Probs just a stomach bug anyway.

FattyFishwife · 21/03/2015 23:49

(((gackay))) hope you are ok xxx

Im totally NOT spotting that my boobs are still tingling/fizzing/burning even after a week (they only usually feel like this but for about 2 days just before AF which is due in 6 days)

I also HAVENT noticed that when i was chopping up a piece of raw pigs kidney for one of the lizards that i could have sworn it smelled like fresh...erm....man juice, and my stomach heaved and turned over......usually it doesnt bother me in the slightest! (cutting up raw kidney i mean!!)

and im not interested in any way shape or form that I want to sleep ALL the time....i had a lie in till 11 this morning....then needed a nap at 4.00 for an hour and a half, and now im gagging to go back to sleep!

nope...TOTES NOT spotting or noticing ANY symptoms at all....piece of Cake really this not symptom spotting....ooohhhhh actually....did someone mention cake?? with gravy and grated mushrooms....dont mind if i do......Wink

temperamentalamongcorvids · 22/03/2015 16:59
