I do feel a bit Sad but I wont take that happiness away from her. She's v young and doing it alone, so I've told her to ring me if she needs anything.
Making me feels those heart/stomach flip flops though as I so desperately want it to be me.
Hopefully, fx, we'll be able to go baby thing shopping soon.

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 12:37

Yeah Purdey, I know. Maybe this is why the doctors hate opks?? I think I'll still use them just so I know when to step up the frequency, but am going by nothing except my temps (and your input!) for stopping dtd!

Is there any point in dtd tonight? If I saw my rise today then I would have ovd yesterday... But surely that could have been 11pm last night in theory? And the egg might still be hanging around tonight?? Xx

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 12:42

mrsb It's hard isn't it, when someone you know who is really lovely has news like that. You are happy for them, but also jealous Hmm. I think it's awesome that you have offered to help her if she needs it, even though it's painful for you. It will be your turn soon. FX for you Flowers

Nomio230 · 19/03/2015 12:42

Mrsb, that sounds really hard. Hope you are ok.

Purds, how are you feeling today?

Thanks for looking at my chart. I am so sick of not knowing what is going on with my own body. Do you think progesterone cream would help with my LP?

Speaking of crazy dreams, I had one last night that I was plucking my eyebrows and then noticed I had hair all underneath my eyes as well!

wotsits1 · 19/03/2015 12:45

I'm so confused about what you are / aren't allowed to eat when pregnant. Can we compile a list somewhere?

mrsb0710 · 19/03/2015 12:46

I may have a little cry later
I did have a dream last night that I had twins. Haha, one at a time would be nice, I'm not greedy

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 12:49

nomio I can't help with the progesterone question, but I have to ask... Did you then have to pluck out all the hairs under your eyes too???? I hate plucking My eyebrows always look like caterpillars as a result. I think I would rather take my chances with my crazy dream murderer. Hmm

mrsb0710 · 19/03/2015 12:49

wotsit I think nhs has guidelines, but there are so many conflicting reports. Some even say sushi is ok now, as long as the fish has been frozen previously.
It baffles me sometimes though, as what about Japanese ladies, or ladies in Italy for example who still consume red wine, pate etc. Not stereotyping, but different countries recommend different things.
I guess you can be so careful, and unfortunately still have problems, everything in moderation and all that.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 12:52

I've wondered about that myself Mrsb

Nomio230 · 19/03/2015 12:56

Quietly, yes, I did!

I have such crazy dreams I sometimes scare myself. When I tell DH about them, he just shakes his head at me! Hmm

victoria401 · 19/03/2015 12:56

Not been baby bombed for a while actually.... Must be due for another soon. Big hugs mrsb

I thought i was ok but just kind of had a Wobbly. Cut my hand at work and nearly passed out from the sight of my own blood. Then I just wanted to cry and didn't want my lunch. Still feel a bit wobbly and just want to go home and cwtch up and be looked after. I don't think its just from the cut, its yesterdays emotion which didn't get relieved from a frantic bums and tums session.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 13:02

That's a nightmare, not a dream nomio! (Phone just autocorrected your name to minions btw. Made me smile)

Sorry to hear you're having a tough day Victoria. Going home for a cwtch up and to be looked after sounds like a good plan. How long til you can implement it? Flowers for you.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 13:03

Wow, I haven't shut up this morning. I should probably be doing something productive rather than being on my phone Confused

Nomio230 · 19/03/2015 13:16

victoria, it is understandable you would be feeling a bit fragile after all the emotion of the last few days. I hope DH is looking after you. Flowers

Quietly minions! Love it. Grin

I feel like poo today. AF is well and truly here now, and I have an upset tummy, headache and backache. Supposed to be back at Uni 3-5, but am having thoughts of not going.

Beansprout30 · 19/03/2015 13:19

Just popping by on lunch break, im out this month that witch turned up this morning. Have made an appointment for two weeks time, notllooking forward to it but no point putting it off

Will try and read back later but off out for dinner with friend hopefully take my thoughts away from babies for a bit!!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 19/03/2015 13:23

wotsit I think it's mainly using your common sense really - having had a mad panic about the egg thing it seems that really the only big no-nos are raw shellfish like oysters, mouldy cheese and liver. I agree about other countries - when I lived in France pregnant women has brie, wine and pate and thought we were nuts for worrying about it

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 13:38

Bean really sorry about AF, good luck at your appointment and enjoy dinner out tonight love. Flowers

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 13:40

Bean I can't find your stats - what cycle are you on, age, ttc#?

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 13:48

mummy I don't think I'm on the stats list either. Would you pretty please add me?

Quietlyhopeful81, 33, ttc #2, cycle 7, bfp due 22nd March.

spinningirl10 · 19/03/2015 14:00

Bean, sorry af arrived.

Victoria, totally understandable that you're feeling down. Hope you have something nice planned for the weekend and dp is giving you plenty of cuddles.

Nomio, sorry af is bad. Are you studying at Uni? Maybe you'll enjoy it when you get there.

I've had 2 really heavy days with af but today it seems to be almost over. Very odd, maybe just cos I'm so old! Smile

spinningirl10 · 19/03/2015 14:01

Oh and I was thinking about ivf (lurking on the infertility thread!) are the statistics for mc lower with ivf?
