Nomio, I'm sorry my last post sounded preachy but I feel cross when clinics dole this drug out and then leave us to it.

Sammy, what CD do you normally ovulate? If I were you, in future I would concentrate on DTD every day from the first LH surge and carry on until the day after ov. That should be three or four days, no?

cymonsarah · 19/03/2015 10:18

Just eaten a massive Passionfruit Meringue tart Shock then realised it's raw egg! Div! Prob not pregnant anyway. so wanna poas now

My skin has gone awful, classic AF symptom for me Sad CD 26

nightandthelight · 19/03/2015 10:26

The raw egg issue is salmonella right? All supermarket eggs are now vaccinated against salmonella so would be very difficult for you to get it! :)

cymonsarah · 19/03/2015 10:29

Get me another ! Wink

Anyone getting any promising symptoms????

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 10:31

Sounds like a good plan Purdey, my last few ovd according to FF were:
Nov 13
Dec 16
Jan 15
Feb 15
Mar ?? Prob 15

HeirToTheIronThrone · 19/03/2015 10:40

Sarah if it makes you feel better I ate a big bowl of carbonara last night which had a raw egg stirred in right at the end as usual. Night is right - if your eggs are lion marked and fresh it should be totally fine and that tart sounds so worth it anyway, yum

cymonsarah · 19/03/2015 10:54

It was heir, it was! Cake Cake CakeCake

PurdeyPie · 19/03/2015 11:06

Why would you stir a raw egg through carbonara at the end? Confused

I hate the way the edit OBEM. They deliberately make all the men look inept/selfish/thick/bastards.

PurdeyPie · 19/03/2015 11:10

Sammy, do you have a photo of your November chart?

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 11:10

So we can all have runny eggs as long as I don't buy the delicious ones from the farm shop? I did not know this! Of course we are all pregnant so need to be very careful! Grin

Also confused at raw egg in carbonara Hmm

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 11:18

Just found this When to test calculator - post in April bus due to exitment but should help me and other early testers to stop being silly!

nightandthelight · 19/03/2015 11:25

Raw egg in carbonara is normal! You stir one through at the end and the heat of the drained pasta should cook it :)

mummyofonesofar · 19/03/2015 11:29

Thanks Night Blush clearly I have no idea about cooking - though to be fair I don't ever cook carbonara. In other news - a Subway has opened up opposite my office - off soon to try it's delights Grin easily pleased by shitty food....

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2015 11:32

Here you go Purdey - I think you're going to tell me I actually ovd on CD16!

I've never put a raw egg in my carbonara either... Think if be too worried about salmonella! Xx

Three BFP's in one day?? Impossible? Not on this 'ere March conception buzz it's not!
HeirToTheIronThrone · 19/03/2015 11:34

Thank you Night, thought I was going mad there - that's what carbonara is, egg (or just yolk) and Parmesan stirred through the hot pasta and bacon to make the 'sauce' - en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbonara

nightandthelight · 19/03/2015 11:35

Don't worry mummy I only know because my dad showed me. Have never actually made carbonara :)

jugglingmonkey · 19/03/2015 11:52

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the link to the countdown to test site... Hopefully that will keep me away from the sticks for a few more days.

Think I'm having some symptoms but well aware I could be imagining them. Sore armpits, short shape cramps in the night, on one side only, plus some very vivid dreams!

Only a few more days to wait now. Anyone else planning to test on Tuesday??

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 11:54

Hey ladies. So I have a minor observation to share. I don't agree with temp adjusters for when you wake early. Too many variables and too much potential craziness. Today (10 dpo) I woke up randomly at 5.10. Being the good girl that I am, I temped immediately, then had a tiny hissy fit because it meant my temp had dropped by .2, which I assume is the start of my af drop. Out of curiosity, I looked for a temp adjustor for the very first time to see what it would say and it insisted that at my usual time (7am) my temp would have been 36.61 (a rise of .1) I put my temp in ff and promptly fell back asleep. I woke at 7am with my alarm and took my temp again out of curiosity. 36.61 exactly. Now obviously I know that I have to take my first temp, which was after my longest sleep. I'm not daft. But could someone please reassure me that this secind temp thing is simple coincidence and not in any way any kind of indicator that we have been lucky this month, because my brain keeps being mean and whispering 'but...'.

Uggghhh never EVER taking my temp twice EVER again, regardless of circumstances!!

Thanks for listening Smile

Oysterbabe · 19/03/2015 11:58

I'm not giving up anything until I get a bfp.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 12:00

I'm with you on the dreams juggling. Last night I dreamt that a faceless murderer was trying to get me to come out of my house (presumably so he could engage in some murdering) and he was using a baby to try and lure me out. He'd put it on our lawn in a blanket and was watching from behind a tree, waiting to pounce. Random as hell. Hmm

PurdeyPie · 19/03/2015 12:08

Sammy, I don't think FF were correct in November, no. I couldn't say for sure that you ov'd CD16 but I don't believe you had a 15-day luteal phase. I would suggest you stop relying on the accuracy of OPKs to stop shagging; I think you are stopping too early and spoiling your chances of a conception. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but we are constantly learning on here and I think we've proved beyond reasonable doubt that, for a few women here at least, a pos opk does not mean ov is imminent Hmm

PurdeyPie · 19/03/2015 12:09

Quietly, I do not believe temp adjusters are reliable.

mrsb0710 · 19/03/2015 12:23

Thanks for the advice ladies, shall keep on shagging!

Just got pregnancy bombed face to face. Grabbed lunch and saw a girl I used to work with. She's 8 weeks and had just been for a scan. She was lovely about it, as she knows my story, but still Envy

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 12:24

I know purdey and I agree completely. I'm going to stop being a twat now and accept my temp drop for what it is. I have my pelvic ultrasound on the 26th of next month so I shall focus on that being a step in the right direction Instead.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 19/03/2015 12:25

That sucks mrsb. Hope you're ok.
