Is it wrong to be pleased DH's mum and dad are respectively a) dead and b) have disowned him for being sent to prison? It means I have no inlaws

I also have no regrets that all sets of grandparents are dead. I can do without smelly old people getting under my feet at Christmas.

Sounds blissful purdey! I shouldn't be so mean about mine, DH's mother and step dad lovely but just too much for reserved old me. His dad is a complete knob who I outright refuse to have anything to do with.

Isn't it the weirdest thing having to get used to someone else's family. When I met dh, I thought his family was a lovely stable lot. Turns out 8 yrs later, they're completely odd.
