Babs get some opks too. You can get 50 on Amazon for under £8 and it's so exciting to finally poas and get a positive result, even if it's not the one I really want Smile

juneybean · 17/03/2015 19:53

Did you DTD last night sammy surely some spermies will be loitering for any egg coming out today?

babsbunny · 17/03/2015 19:54

Priceless oyster. Must remember to change my amazon one click delivery address from the office to home Hmm

dojo123 · 17/03/2015 19:55

spinning and Purdey had a lovely weekend thank you. It was was nice seeing mine and my DHs mummy's.

cymon I went to Cornwall for the weekend. Hadn't been back since Christmas.

eskimo waves back what tests are you having again?

babsbunny · 17/03/2015 19:56

Golly pikz. You sound like you have been through the mill. I hope your journey gets easier.

loopylou1984 · 17/03/2015 20:09

Yes we did Juney, about 11pm last night and I had my classic hormone headache all morning. So fx I see a significant rise in the morning. Purdey - what do you think? Xx

PurdeyPie · 17/03/2015 20:19

Oh, Pikz Sad Can I ask precisely where the adhesions are/were? Was there fusing of bladder and bowel to uterus or anything? How is your uterine lining and where did they scrape away endo from? What are your periods like..heavy? It's promising that your husband says he could be talked into IVF. Have you heard of Penny at the Serum clinic in Athens? She specialises in women who have had repeat miscarriages due to endo/immunes issues/adhesions etc and she is an utterly beautiful person inside and treats every woman who goes to her as though they are her only client. She works very late into the night so communication is quick and she has enormous faith in hers and her embryologists' knowledge of women.

Perhaps you could google her clinic and take a look at her success rates? Also here is the Fertility Friend forum for women currently cycling at Serum. Don't be alarmed at the complex nature of some of the ladies' issues and don't think I am thinking you have some serious problems. All I suggest is that you start to look beyond trying naturally - even just 'window-shopping' - and look to other women whose insides are not top dollar.

You will see on the latest page of that link that there is a lady called 'Arianrhod' who has had a torturous journey to her twins born last year. She was a mumsnetter for a long, long time on the TTC After Recurrent Miscarriage threads and I have yet to meet a woman with more ttc knowledge than her. The tests and drugs and scans and IVF cycles this lady has had are unbelievable, and it was only after flying to Serum for her final IVF attempt that she was made pregnant...with twins! I know you are not someone who has had miscarriages, and I'm not suggesting you have immunes issues or anything else complex wrong with you, but you could do a lot worse than private message Arianrhod via FF and ask her for advice re your issues. She is brilliant and will only be too happy to give you her opinions.

PurdeyPie · 17/03/2015 20:25

Sammy, see, I think FF got your ov date wrong last month (in fact, I am sure of it). I think you ov'd on CD17 and had a fourteen-day luteal phase, not fifteen. So, that would mean you ov'd three whole days after your initial surge (like Sparkly does) and that would be the same this cycle if you ov'd tomorrow Smile

Frozen chips, beans, chicken & ham pastie and three slices of thick white Warbie's bread for tea Hmm

PurdeyPie · 17/03/2015 20:26

P.s...Pikz, don't worry: it's not expensive at Serum. Cheaper than the UK.

juneybean · 17/03/2015 20:30

THREE slices purds you fatso! Wink

I had carrot cake for tea, I win at life.

mrsb0710 · 17/03/2015 20:35

We had homemade Guinness stew. Excellent, if I do say so gloating

I keep.forgetting to fill out the CB trial forms, whoops. I need to do that tonight and post all my pee samples. Not going to look odd at all when I go to the post office...maybe I should make DH post them.

Giddymamma · 17/03/2015 20:52

Hello all, been at work all day.... Just saw this morning that af got spinning. Poops. Sorry lovely. FlowersSad

And also just seen that juney bean had cake for tea. Juney, you ARE a winner! Jealous. :)

Will go and have tea and read everything that's happened on between those updates!

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 17/03/2015 20:54

mrsb know what you mean about long distance families, my DH is an Aussie, but he refuses to go back cause of his dad. Went back last year for a visit almost did him in.
Interesting mamapo about the Clomid for short cycles, I'll have to ask my dr about that.

dojo123 · 17/03/2015 20:59

On the dinner topic... Butternut squash soup with onion bread. (Followed by a couple of Thornton classic chocolate I got for my birthday)

nightandthelight · 17/03/2015 21:03

DH is bringing me fish and chips as we speak (knew I kept him for a reason) Grin

mrsb0710 · 17/03/2015 21:04

purple its ok, as long as they keep their squabbling in the southern hemisphere!
I've been back twice in 3 years, and as lovely as it is to visit, uk is home now.

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 21:12

Thanks giddySmile

Dojo, I love butternut squash soup! I had poached eggs, sm.salmon and spinach. Couldn't be bothered to cook any thing much!

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 21:13

Ooh Guiness stew sounds good but the top dinner award goes to Juney......Carrot Cake for dinner, love itGrin

loopylou1984 · 17/03/2015 21:13

Hmmm so I could be a mutant like Sparkly??!

Why would FF get it wrong out of interest? Poor dh, he thought he was off the hook! Now I'm gonna have to tell him tomorrow is needed too.... Tonight would have been ideal wouldn't it? Xx

loopylou1984 · 17/03/2015 21:14

Also - if this is true, then there are many many cycles where we have stopped dtd too early....

juneybean · 17/03/2015 21:17

Perk of being an adult!

Nomio230 · 17/03/2015 21:18

I just wrote a long post that seems to have disappeared. So annoying. Angry

Giddymamma · 17/03/2015 21:18

Sammy , you might just have cracked your ttc issues! That would be amazing, fingers crossed! Get dtd!! X

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 17/03/2015 21:18

Was our first trip back for about five years. Hopefully our niece will be coming to visit in a few years once she's eighteen.

Pikz · 17/03/2015 21:21

Purvey thank you for making me cry in a good way. I'm really bad at talking about it all but it's got a bit much now!

The adhesions were uterine and literally to the point where they covered the entire lining and stopped my periods before ds. This time they were more fluffy and so he hoped the lining would recover easier. The endo was in my pouch of Douglas. The cyst was blocking my right Fallopian tube.

My periods are heavy now since the ops, before them they were quite non existent. They are short but I'm crossing everything that we can achieve something in the 6 months from surgery as that's my best window before anything can grow back.

I'm giving myself til Christmas non assisted and then I might start the assisted route as it would be 2 years and I know I can't have more surgery any ime in the next few years as all the ops combined with a c section make surgeons wary!

I am going to go read all that stuff now

Hope your dinner was edible and Nancy is ok.

I also read a brilliant article today about 'the best age gap' and it started to put me at peace with ,mine being in excess of 3 years
