Then DM took him for 9 days - camping for 2 last summer and I called constantly but was so gutted (selfish I know) when he didn't even miss me - he was having so much fun and I'm sure your DSL will too.

Sammy, I reckon we've all had a wake-up call re stopping DTD too early. Those opks are not to be relied upon when it comes to judging when to have sex. I reckon the only sure way of knowing we've covered all bases is to have sex until we see the temp rise.
