Super busy day at work today (like, I actually had to spend most of the day in the office rather than working at home) so haven't had chance to check the thread.

night & spinning so sorry to hear AF arrived.

mummy sammy oyster & woolly I'll be joining you in the 2WW (not entirely sure if/when it has started yet - more about that later)

mrsb Sorry to hear you're being involved in family dramas but as you say, at least you are not just round the corner so can't actually be expected to do anything in person! Where in Aus are you from? DH & I went there on honeymoon in December and loved it. We flew to Brisbane then spent a few days driving between there and Sydney

kissing Just got to your post about AF arrival too - boo!

Sarah fingers & toes crossed they are real symptoms!

Oooh coffee and knit nice to know you are lurking out there and things are progressing nicely for you both

Up to page 18, posting now in case I lose everything.

to be continued...

juneybean · 17/03/2015 18:44

sammy I think we will be! I'm hoping I'm 1dpo!

MaMaPo · 17/03/2015 18:51

Hello all. I've been in radio silence since AF arrived a couple of weeks ago but I actually have another bfp date in March so I'm totally allowed to be here, ok? We're going old fashioned this cycle - no temping, no opks, no mumset it's lovely!

Just thought I would pop on and update you after seeing the consultant last night. He was great, very bishbashbosh in his approach but I quite like it. He's my mum's old boss so I know him, but haven't seen him in at least six years.

Anyway, he said we have loads of normal results (including my husband's sperm analysis) but he was Concerned by my short cycle lengths. The upshot is that I'll start Clomid next cycle, if no luck in three cycles I'll have a lap and dye, if no luck three cycles after that we'll move into ivf.

So in all I feel quite positive. I'm so pleased to have a plan of attack.

Anyway, hello to all the happy bus riders. I'll probably step back off the bus in the next day or two, then jump on the April bus ready for our Clomid bfp.

ThePug · 17/03/2015 18:56

eskimo Glad to hear you've got an appt on Thursday. Who is it with/is it just an initial consultation or are any tests being done?

Dojo Hope you had a good mini-break. Frustrating when you can't get online though isn't it! DH was sat next to me watching tv the other night and I couldn't really do much MNing as he is so annoying at looking over my shoulder and would be very disapproving of the amount of sharing done on this thread!

I think it's lovely to hear from our recent busgraduates regarding the early days/weeks of their preg. I can totally understand them being hesitant to move over to other threads so early so feel a bit in limbo and not sure where to post. I for one think their updates are exciting having heard about their ttc journeys for some time - obviously this applies to regular bus ticket holders not LPBs who I wouldn't be so interested in hearing about their sore boobs/nausea!

Juney I agree with the difficulty assessing CM when there has been recent depositing of spunk!

MaMa Great news about all the 'normal' test results. And as Purdey would say, knowledge definitely is power so fx the Clomid will now help out with cycle lengths. Nice to hear you're feeling positive :)

mrsb0710 · 17/03/2015 19:03

pug just outside of Brisbane. I got married back home last year and honeymooned in Fiji :)

Thanks for the advice ladies, we need to get on with smep so I guess its a good sign.

Absolutely exhausted and its only Tuesday. Roll on the weekend.

ThePug · 17/03/2015 19:03

I made it to the end! Now time for my update: I have no idea if/when I have ovulated and DH says he's had enough BDing and can we have a break tonight.

CM is snotty/stretchy, like yesterday. Am putting it down as creamy on FF but it's not thick. Temp this morning was way lower than the last few days. I'm guessing that a positive opk doesn't necessarily mean you definitely will ovulate - is that right? Anyone want to hazard a guess whether I have/ whether I'm into the 2ww or whether all that shagging was pointless?! Should I be forcing seducing DH into performing again tonight?

cymonsarah · 17/03/2015 19:07

Coffee not at all!! we are all very happy for you xxx

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 19:08

Mama, your appointment sounds really positive, always good to have a plan. I hope the clomid works and you'll soon have your bfpSmile

Oysterbabe · 17/03/2015 19:10

I'm a total charting noob but I reckon you ovulated today and will see a temp rise tomorrow. Maybe one more DTD if his bits aren't too sore?

mrsb0710 · 17/03/2015 19:13

If in doubt, just shag :)

ThePug · 17/03/2015 19:20

Oyster thank you! I am an equal noob and thought I was just looking for a rise. Just googled about a dip and found some info that sometimes you get a dip on the day of Ov, and a rise then the day after. My chart looks pretty similar to the one here so far (if you ignore the first part of mine which I think a lot of may have been wrong due to me thinking the stupid thermometer stored my temp but actually it doesn't) www.justmommies.com/articles/bbt-charting.shtml

I just told DH and he sort of groaned and said 'sounds like we have to have more sex'. Yes husband, yes we do.

juneybean · 17/03/2015 19:23

thepug that drop in temperature does make me think the egg is on it's way out!

babsbunny · 17/03/2015 19:24

Hi girls.
Just catching up on the rakes of chat. Hope you are all ok.

In train home.

Still don't have sore boobsSad

PurdeyPie · 17/03/2015 19:27

MaMa, I've been wondering if you're okay. What a brill plan of attack. Clomid will absolutely sort your luteal phase out. Lap & dyes are brilliant for getting to the nitty-gritty, although rather painful for 48-72 hours afterwards. It's great to know what is or isn't going on inside, though. How is work? Has the anxiety left?

Sammy, would you hate me if I suggested you haven't ov'd yet? I'm going by the FF mantra that the temp rise indicating ovulation should be a minimum of 0.2°. Neither today's temp nor yesterday's rose that much, from what I can see. Can I see your chart from last month, please?

Eskimo, I'm so chuffed you have that appointment on Thursday.

Pug!, you're ovulating today! Get rumpy-pumpying!!

eskimolaura · 17/03/2015 19:27

Pug I'm not really sure! The doctor has referred me, because it's been 6 months now and no AF, so it's a hospital appointment. but I really don't know what they will say / do. I have already had the Day 3 bloods taken and they were normal. (I took Norethisterone to induce a withdrawal bleed for those to be done). Confused

Thank you for asking though :)

I love the ladies on this bus I do x

MaMaPo · 17/03/2015 19:31

Oh yes, anxiety disappeared the moment AF turned up (early again). But it's been a busy few weeks, I've decided to start a company doing private work with a couple of friends, so I have had my ttc hat off and my newly minted business hat on.

Woolly84 · 17/03/2015 19:33

Hi pug , nice to have another companion for the TWW! Sounds like you have a bit more dtding to do before you join us though!! Wink
I googled the random spotting and am putting it down to ovulation or the dtdathlon of the past few days!
coffee it's lovely to hear about our BFP stories, gives me hope that it WILL happen for the rest of us!

eskimolaura · 17/03/2015 19:36

Thanks Purdey :)

Just had a count and it's not been 6 months Blush It's actually been 4 months, but it seems a lot longer! I think that the doctor has referred my because I can't remember my cycle from before I went on the pill, but I don't think I was very regular. Hopefully the Agnus Castus will set me right!

babsbunny · 17/03/2015 19:41

Think it's nice a few of the bfpers sticking around a while. Must be quite daunting to move posts!

Sparkly good to hear you fully restored
Kissing, sorry about af.
Mama, sounds like you've got a plan. Hope this goes well for you. It's sometimes half the battle.
Juney, hope the boys are working their magic!
Pug, give it one last bash!

babsbunny · 17/03/2015 19:44

Want in on this charting malarkey. Spend my month trying to divine when I'm fertile. Buying thermometer for next cycle in bid to bring about law of sod

loopylou1984 · 17/03/2015 19:48

Purdey - I wouldn't hate you but my dh might! We just did 3 days in a row! Lol.
I've taken my temps at odd terms this cycle as haven't been setting an alarm, but I do see what you mean. I'm out of opks and zero chance of dtd tonight as dh away so I bet I'll ov today...

Last months chart attached for you.
I was convinced I had ovd today due to the sore boobs and hormone headache, plus I had definite watery cm a couple of days ago which has gone now...... So confused Hmm

Pikz · 17/03/2015 19:48

Mama that sounds like a fab plan.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Purdey I have actually had 4 hysteroscopies and 2 laps but 2 of the hysteroscopies and one of the laps were pre ttc when I had pre cancerous cells and lots of other issues. They have all been done privately as I have health cover at work and because of the previous operations and all the pain the adhesions cause I have a fab consultant who sneaks it through under gynae issues so work pay. I know I am very lucky in that way just now classed as infertility soo have to pay going forward.

DH is against IVF for number 2 as he says maybe fate meant us to only have one if it doesn't happen. He also said he could be talked round.

I think it's the adhesions causing the issues and I have been told the minute my family is complete they recommend a full hysterectomy Hmm

loopylou1984 · 17/03/2015 19:50
