Hi everyone, long time lurker but new to this board and ttc #2 for six months.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any implantation bleeding after a bfp?

I thought it wasn't possible but I'm on CD23 of a 26 day cycle, poas this morning (i know, but i couldnt wait) with an early First Response and got a very dark line bfp! Hooray! However since this afternoon I've noticed some very light pink blood when I wipe. Is this normal to get a bfp BEFORE implantation bleed? I'm questioning the bfp now!

TIA

Not implantation bleed no, bleed through though sometimes happens.

Implantation is what results in the hcg which makes the test positive. So you've already implanted to have enough hcg to get a positive.

Some women bleed throughout their pregnancy (which is why some don't realise they're pregnant) and some unfortunately result in a chemical pregnancy.

I am currently 8+6 with DC2 and have been bleeding/spotting constantly since 4 weeks. I've been scanned by EPU and everything looks normal so it's just one of those things. I also had a few early bleeds in my first pregnancy.

Thank you for your reassuring replies.

Update - did a CB digi test this morning to be sure and got another bfp Smile

I had spotting at 7 weeks and light bleeding at 10 weeks. I had scans on both occasions and baby was fine each time.

I was told it was just my uterus shedding blood as the baby was getting bigger.

I then had a big bleed at 14 weeks, lots of fresh blood but another scan showed the baby was still fine.
