Hi there,
There are so many forum topics about this all over the internet but I can't quite see my situation and my head is in a total spin so I thought I'd make one more.
I just took a Sainsburys pregnancy test because my period is about 5 days late, and it was immediately positive. The cross was showing before the control line even showed up. The 'positive line' is thick and pretty faint, but blue. I've drank loads of water today so I'm especially surprised it was so quick and decisive!
Sainsbury's seem to have a reputation for false positives, but does anyone know if they look how I described and whether they appear immediately?
I have a second test that I can take in the morning but as I said I'm pretty flabbergasted so I'm not going to be able to rest all night now. Although I'm married we're not in a great place to have a baby at the moment - we live far apart only seeing each other on weekends, and we really weren't planning on having a baby for a good while yet.
The days we had sex last month don't add up with ovulation dates, unless I marked down my last period date wrong but I don't think I did...All I want to do right now is have a long bath with a glass of wine, but now that seems irresponsible!
Anyway sorry for rambling, any Sainsburys false positive experiences would be very welcome!
