Cyclogest - help!

Hi,
New on mums net ;) and really hoping for some friendly advice about taking cyclogest. I've been prescribed 400mg morning and evening - having done my reading on here that seems like a lot! We are trying for a baby, I have been put on this course following 12days of Menopur injections and ovulation...So, in short, taking these as pessaeries - front or back! is proving difficult, I'm worried I'm not getting the full benefit as they don't hold when placed 'up there'....

I also seem to be feeling pretty rubbish - very tired, upset stomach etc...

Anyone else had this experience?! Any thoughts or observations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I was prescribed 400 twice a day. Consultant advised rectal if I didn't want to lie down for 20 minutes or so.
No pooling for an hour afterwards.
Felt pretty grim but scored a baby (two years next month) so v worth it IMHO!

Hi caramelgirl - thank you so much for your response. Congratulations on your little one!
absolutely worth all of this - sorry to hear you felt grim but its reassuring knowing I am not the only one. I wasnt sure if it was related or not, I have only just started to feel like this (awful!) and i have been on Cyclogest for 4 days. It was my first round of injections etc so i am very new and alittle nervous.

thank you again
