Here's hoping this month is THE one!

tessie looking back at the last year my cycles since April have been between 31 to 41 days but more often than not are 33/34 days long. If last months chart is to be believed, my LP is 13 days. I'm currently cd25. This will mean I'm due for a long cycle now. My longest, the 41 day cycle only happened once and other than that I had one 36 day cycle but the rest since last April were 35 days or less. I hope you're right and it's just late this month for some reason!

CarrotVan · 30/03/2015 09:53

Thanks Tessie - I'll update my tracker app

Alpha100 · 30/03/2015 10:14

Jumping on board. Been ttc since Christmas but haven't worked out stats yet... maybe that is a job for this month!

DizzyMerry · 30/03/2015 11:13

Sorry for your loss missmrs.

Dizzy do you do opks and temping? Do you usually ovulate? I've been doing opks for 3 cycles and only got a positive this cycle?
Sorry if you've already answered these questions. I would also arrange to see your GP to get the ball rolling with initial tests

BananaRaces · 30/03/2015 12:16

So sorry to hear your news missmrs. Sad

I'm glad some of you ladies are sticking with this bus. I just don't post often enough to keep up with the Megabus, but didn't want to hop off the buses completely because you're all so lovely and supportive.

jugglingmonkey · 30/03/2015 12:47

So sorry to hear your news MissMrs. So very sad. Take care ??

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 13:17

Thanks purple and dizzymerry, I'll wait the rest of the month out and then get a gp's appointment. I'm hoping that it's just a blip.
dizzy I do both which is why I know there's a problem, my chart is showing no ovulation yet this month. My cycles are usually 33/34 days long at last month ov was on cd20. I didn't see a positive opk this month (I have had them in the past) because I'd been drinking too much water in the mornings before testing. So I have no idea if I actually had a surge either! I did have loads of wet ewcm though which is usual for me.

To add insult to injury I've just seen my pregnant friend from work who's just to me she thinks someone else in the office is possibly pregnant. Brilliant. Sad

DizzyMerry · 30/03/2015 13:56

That sucks dizzy but your time will come, it honestly will you just have to keep going.
My mums friend has recently announced that her dil is pregnant after 11 years of ttc. As far as I'm aware she had unexplained fertility.
There is hope for all of us and I know it will happen soon for us all.

Ewcm is an excellent sign so you have every chance this cycle. I have my fx for you

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 15:10

Wow 11 years! That must have been crushing for her, she must ecstatic to finally get there!

I feel so silly moaning on here as I know some of you have had much tougher journeys. I'm still at the beginning of mine.

Anyway I've just had my daily dose of Brazil nuts, hopefully they'll soon start doing whatever it is they're supposed to do lol.

DizzyMerry · 30/03/2015 15:32

Oh gosh, I forgot my Brazil nuts today!

Don't feel silly. We can't help our emotions and ttc is difficult. The one thing that should happen straightaway takes ages and we are left questioning everything. It's tough.

Off to get my Brazil nuts!!!

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 15:55

Thanks everyone. I am feeling a bit more positive now and the bleeding etc. has lessened. Started my vitamins ready for next cycle (no idea what to expect though) Hope you're all ok x

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 15:56

dizzy what do brazil nuts do?

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 16:07

Lol missmrs we were all going crazy for them earlier on in this thread, they're supposed to be very good for fertility etc. can't remember why now exactly but it's someth to do with their high selenium content. Selenium is good for the thyroid and regulating hormones so this might be why.

Glad to hear you're feeling better. The Brazil's might be worth a try if your problem is something to do with progesterone?

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 16:10

Ohhh yes dizzy I will get some down me! I'm sure I have low progesterone.

Hmm, I'm not even sure I actually like them. Do they count if they are crushed up on ice cream?? Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 16:16

I'm sure they do! I have some chocolate covered ones in my desk drawer which I was snacking on last week, but after bad IBS over the weekend I'm starting afresh this weekend with my determination to reduce my sugar intake, so I'm now eating plain. They aren't the tastiest of nuts but they're fine once you get used to them. Just don't eat more than a small handful as they can be toxic

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 16:17

Lol I've posted that link a few times on threads now. I'm like the Brazil nut pr girl ha ha

Sweets27 · 30/03/2015 16:38

dizzies and others, I am convinced brazil nuts and pineapple are the magic ingredients. I've been scoffing them like crazy since they were recommended on this bus! (Not too crazy, I realise too many can be toxic...)

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 16:41

sweets if the Brazil's gave you your bfp then I'm buying shares in them Wink

nightandthelight · 30/03/2015 16:45

Just ate my Brazil's and forced them down DH's throat :)

littlebbunny · 30/03/2015 16:50

Missmrmummy I feel your sadness. In the same boat as you. Had spotting all weekend (well actually all week), got worse on Sunday, 3 positives on the weekend then a negative Sunday late at night. Like you, I'm taking the positive out of this - got the bfp, for me it was on the 3rd cycle.

JoeyBun · 30/03/2015 16:51

MissMrs, sorry to hear your news.

CarrotVan, fx for you for cycle 2, hope it is lucky for you again. I'll be joining you in cycle 2 soon, AF due in the next few days, but I couldn't resist a bit of early poas-ing and only got BFNs so just waiting for AF to arrive.

littlebbunny · 30/03/2015 16:55

Oh and the added jet lag is a real b!tch, feel like I'm on sleeping drugs all the time! I guess it's hit worst this time because of the mc. Apologies btw for posting the same thing on different topics. I just joined today and just feel the need to just throw it out there along with the kitchen sink.

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 18:08

littlebbunny I'm really sorry for your loss too x at least we can take something positive from this. Just hope my next cycle isn't too messed up. Apparently it shouldn't be too bad as it was an early loss x

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 18:11

Thanks dizzy so about 6 a day is ok?

frogbubbles · 30/03/2015 18:44

Hey lovely ladies, hope everyone is as ok as can be. MissMrs so sorry to hear your news.

Hopping back on this bus, the mega bus is well mega and I keep feeling a bit lost.

Cd4 here and wondered if anyone is OPK savvy enough to tell me what is the best day to start testing on a 32 day cycle? I don't really want to waste any sticks.
