Oh Missmrs - so so sorry to hear your news. You're right to be looking at the positive that you can conceive though, it's happened once it can happen again. Hugs to you.
The megabus is just so that everyone can stay together instead of having to change threads each month... Come join us! It is very busy on there though, hence why I'm here too :)

Southey re the cough meds, def ask the pharmacist. I think the one mentioned below is meant to be stopped post ov... Not 100% sure though. Xx

nightandthelight · 29/03/2015 17:30

Oh no missmrs I am so sorry Flowers how heavy is the bleeding?

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 17:46

thanks Sammy and night

night it's become like a period and I have cramps. Had to take paracetamol. I've spoken to EPU who were lovely. It would have been to early for a scan (4.5 weeks) and nothing they could do x

spinningirl10 · 29/03/2015 17:48

Missmrs, I'm so very sorry to hear your news Sad it's such an awful thing to have that hope and excitement snatched away. As you say it's good news that you are able to conceive and I hope you can get another fertility appointment quickly. Take care of yourself xx

nightandthelight · 29/03/2015 17:49

So sorry missmrs, was hoping it was just spotting :( great that you can see the positive that you can get pregnant though! Won't be long until you get your sticky bean :)

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 17:56

night it started as brown spotting on Fri and I was reassured by EPU that it's normal. Though I was still worried sick as I always have that before AF. It continued yesterday, then today I've had a few episodes of bright red. I think I have low progesterone which is causing a short luteal phase and also stopped my bean from sticking. I will be a bit nervous about TTC now until I have seen a consultant as I don't want this to happen again!

Thanks spinning yes it's so sad we only had the happy news for a week. At least we had that though. We had never had a hint of a BFP before so it has given us hope x

nightandthelight · 29/03/2015 17:59

Fx you get your appt soon and they sort out any problems miss! You will get there :)

CarrotVan · 29/03/2015 18:02

So sorry MissMrsMummy

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 18:08

Thank you night and carrot x

Southy84 · 29/03/2015 18:49

Flowers missmrs thinking of you x

Mumof1sofar · 29/03/2015 20:16

So sorry missmrs. Hope you've got lots of RL support & you're being well looked after. Have a Brew & Thanks

Sweets27 · 29/03/2015 20:41

So sorry to hear that missmrs. Flowers Fx for another BFP really soon. Best of luck for the consultation. At least you know you can conceive now - a big step in the right direction!

Illiria · 29/03/2015 20:43

So sorry Missmrs.

Welcome newcomers, take a seat.

coffeenut - my first month temping looked like the Himalayas :-) I have switched temping method as I think I breath through my mouth when I sleep which can mess up temps.

aletea · 29/03/2015 20:50

Hi, I'm hopping on. TTC #3, both others were conceived in cycle one so I'm cautiously optimistic that the same will happen this time! Test day is 1 April and due on 5 April. My cycle seems to be very short since coming off the pill!

DaisyDuckSW15 · 29/03/2015 22:46

So sorry missmrs xxxxx

Cariad2014 · 29/03/2015 23:14

So sorry MissMrs - such rubbish news, and as Spinning so rightly said it's horrid to have the excitement snatched away so quickly. At least you know that you CAN conceive. I hope you get your fertility appointment quickly and that a a BFP and a sticky bean are just around the corner. Flowers

Thanks, you're all lovely xx

coffeenut · 29/03/2015 23:50

Oh no missmrs so so sorry, how awful, I'm so disappointed for you. I hope you can get that appt soon. I hope you have lots of RL support & be good to yourself.

welcome to the newbies and the bus hoppers.

southy ask your doc but I know they no longer recommend cough meds for children where I am as they just aren't good for them. If the cough is chesty, some antibiotics to clear up the infection may be the safest thing (as long as they were pregnancy friendly obviously). Sorry you feel rough Sad

Fingrs crossed it happens straight away again for you aletea

BFN again this morning. I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle as I'm 12dpo. Illiria - yes to Himalayas!!! If I knew how to post a chart I would show you!

loopylou1984 · 30/03/2015 07:18

Temp drop this morning means I am now officially on the April bus Hmm

No af yet, but she's on her way. Xx

CarrotVan · 30/03/2015 07:46

I'm now officially on this bus I think. Minimal brownish discharge all weekend turned into very light flow last night - so late and non-standard for me as mine are heavy and painful unusually. Not sure what to count as CD1 though so my next chance at a BFP will be from 24-27th April. Probably

Stats
CarrotVan, 35, TTC#2, cycle 2 (which was the lucky one last time), BFP towards the end of April

DaisyDuckSW15 · 30/03/2015 07:55

This is my first month of ovulation testing. Using the clearblue dual hormone digital one.
Today is a solid smiley, which is the LH surge (hurrah! This seems to suggest my body is working properly so far) BUT I didn't have any days with flashing smileys, the higher estrogen sign. Has anyone else had this?

Mumof1sofar · 30/03/2015 08:41

Daisy I'm using it for the first month too. 2nd day of flashing smiley today (cd12). What cd did you start testing on?

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/03/2015 08:53

Morning all! Just checking in to see how you're all doing.

missmrs so sorry to hear about your mc. I always think things happen for a reason, at least if you have underlying fertility issues this is the prompt to get them seen to. It's a terrible thing for you to have to go through but it's better now than later on. Take care of yourself for now Flowers

Sorry to anyone else caught by AF.

Well, after all my stressing about DP not doing his job earlier on in this thread, it looks like I've not ovulated anyway Hmm. I think I'm having an anovulatory cycle but I've not idea why. I thought I'd ov'd on cd20 which would possibly have been consistent with last month, depending on how you interpret my charts, as I had a big temp spike. Unfortunately since then my temps have dropped back down. Funnily enough I've got sinusy issues this morning but surely illness would increase my temps? I have no idea what's going on Confused

tessiegirl · 30/03/2015 09:30

Morning everybody! Smile

Rainy horrible weather here today, need to brave it to walk to the shops but I really don't want to go out there!! Confused Second high temp this morning so feeling hopeful that ovulation has happened and will feel even better if ff can pinpoint it tomorrow unlike last cycle.

MissMrs I am so so sorry to hear your sad news. Please continue to take something positive from it, hang in there, you will get you bfp Flowers

Hello to newbie aletea! Welcome and good luck!!

Sorry for the bfn coffee Sad

Carrot CD1 is counted from your first day of proper red flow...hope that helps a bit?

Daisy it is completely normal not to have flashing smileys when using Dual Hormone...it gives the reason why in the leaflet in the box...I will dig out my box after I have posted and let you know what it says...

Dizzy sorry you don't think you have ovulated, maybe your body tried to but didn't quite get there? How long are your cycles normally? Maybe you will ovulate later?

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 30/03/2015 09:42

Morning all,
Sorry to hear your news missmrs.
dizzynorthern I'll reply here as it will get lost on the mega bus. How long are your cycles normally if Ov is cd 20?
If I were you I'd definitely go to he Gp and say you are concerned you are not OVing and tell them you have been trying for 6 months even though you haven't. Then they can get the ball rolling with blood tests and an ultrasound. This is what I did - all though I went due to short cycles, but I have had the tests now and I'm only on Cycle 5, DH has just got to arrange a SA and then the Dr can put us forward for a referral (I'm assuming for fertility consultant).
If they did find anything then you should be able to get referred straight away.
I'm on cd 22 and ff has finally decided I ov'd on cd 14, so am now dpo 8.
