Hi ladies just catching up! I forgot how fast the bus is!
I find that buying a few baby items help me keep the dream alive...everyone is different & I guess we all deal with things differently.
Trixie I often thought of you all too & in fact I was hoping when I popped back on that you all wouldn't still be waiting like myself! Fx a few small changes to your diet will do the trick x June won't be long coming & after waiting this long, it mustn't seem so far away
I hope to be after seeing the fertility doc myself by then, so we could very well be BFP buddies
x
Sparkly I was on the buses last year as laurano81. I took a break after I had the first chemical pregnancy in December. I remember you
. I am going to try my best to decline a HSG test!! The thought of it makes me wanna cross my legs... I went for a 7dpo test last year & it was normal...but I knew that I had low progesterone, as my lp was 9 days, ... basically 5 days shorter than when I got pregnant with my son...I decided to read about luteal phase issues & I quickly came to realise the implications it would have on implantation...I asked my doctor to do the day 21 bloods 7dpoon 9dpo, in order to see what the levels were & to prove that I did have a short luteal phase. I tend to ovulate cd 17, so I prefer to refer to the test being done according to dpo. I did have to really persuade my doctor to do the test & I was shocked when he finally agreed! My progesterone level 7dpo indicated that I had ovulated I can't remember the exact figure, but it was only 13.8 when retested on 9dpo! The progesterone level had fallen & I started bleeding the next day.
Tessiegirl Another mumsnet member recommended B6 to help me lengthen my luteal phase, after she herself had success with it. I take a B complex, but I also take extra B6 & B12..it is important to make sure that you take a complete b complex, in order to prevent an imbalance of the B vits. I always tend to ovulate cd 17, but it is normal for it to change every so often for no apparent reason. I haven't noticed a delay in ovulation since I began taking EPO or Bvits, but that is not to say that it isn't possible x
