FX Mr. Tessie feels better after some Lemsip! Brew

Mr. Roxy got back with a two pack of FRERs and I've just done one which was a BFN. I'll do the other one in a few days to confirm but I think we're back to the drawing shagging board!

Nomio230 · 25/03/2015 19:11

Aww, sorry to hear that Roxy. Hope you are not too sad.

Thanks sweets, I will take a look.

spinningirl10 · 25/03/2015 19:21

Roxy, sorry for the bfn, it sucks. Will be keeping my fx for you tomorrow.

loopylou1984 · 25/03/2015 19:47

Sorry for the bfn Roxy. X

tessiegirl · 25/03/2015 19:55

Sorry Roxy Disappointment sucks...be strong.

I really don't think dtd tonight is going to happen - DH is full of cold and looks and feels rough...bless him. Maybe we will try in the morning...Hmm Going to snuggle up together to watch Poldark then have an early night I think

laurasdream · 25/03/2015 20:13

Hi ladies just catching up! I forgot how fast the bus is! Smile I find that buying a few baby items help me keep the dream alive...everyone is different & I guess we all deal with things differently.

Trixie I often thought of you all too & in fact I was hoping when I popped back on that you all wouldn't still be waiting like myself! Fx a few small changes to your diet will do the trick x June won't be long coming & after waiting this long, it mustn't seem so far away Smile I hope to be after seeing the fertility doc myself by then, so we could very well be BFP buddies Smile x

Sparkly I was on the buses last year as laurano81. I took a break after I had the first chemical pregnancy in December. I remember you Smile. I am going to try my best to decline a HSG test!! The thought of it makes me wanna cross my legs... I went for a 7dpo test last year & it was normal...but I knew that I had low progesterone, as my lp was 9 days, ... basically 5 days shorter than when I got pregnant with my son...I decided to read about luteal phase issues & I quickly came to realise the implications it would have on implantation...I asked my doctor to do the day 21 bloods 7dpoon 9dpo, in order to see what the levels were & to prove that I did have a short luteal phase. I tend to ovulate cd 17, so I prefer to refer to the test being done according to dpo. I did have to really persuade my doctor to do the test & I was shocked when he finally agreed! My progesterone level 7dpo indicated that I had ovulated I can't remember the exact figure, but it was only 13.8 when retested on 9dpo! The progesterone level had fallen & I started bleeding the next day.

Tessiegirl Another mumsnet member recommended B6 to help me lengthen my luteal phase, after she herself had success with it. I take a B complex, but I also take extra B6 & B12..it is important to make sure that you take a complete b complex, in order to prevent an imbalance of the B vits. I always tend to ovulate cd 17, but it is normal for it to change every so often for no apparent reason. I haven't noticed a delay in ovulation since I began taking EPO or Bvits, but that is not to say that it isn't possible x

DizzyMerry · 25/03/2015 20:13

Sorry juggling Flowers
Sorry for the bfn roxy

laurasdream · 25/03/2015 20:19

Sorry the witch got you juggling! That totally sucks Sad

Hang in there Roxy! It's not over until AF arrives! Fx you get a BFP when you test again x KMFX

laurasdream · 25/03/2015 20:26

Yawn! Cd 10 & I still have light spotting Angry My poor DH is ready to explode! haha. I reckon that is why I ovulate cd 17...my poor body has to recover after bleeding for so long! Roll on May.

Sammy Fx your appointment brings you clarity..x I can't wait to see how you get on! I am pinning all my hopes on the fertility doc, so I feel excited but anxious all in one x

tessiegirl · 25/03/2015 20:34

Thank you so much for the info Laurasdream I am so pleased you mentioned making sure to take a complete B complex vit as I was looking on Holland and Barrett website yesterday and was so confused at all the different types of B vitamins there are!! So, just to make sure I understand - you take a complete vit b complex and a B6 and a B12 vit daily? What dosage of them all do you take?! Sorry to be a pain!!!! Blush

spinningirl10 · 25/03/2015 21:06

Laura, have you spoken to doc about the length of your af? It's a long time for it to hang aroundHmm

laurasdream · 25/03/2015 21:14

Tessie I take the Holland & Barrett Vitamin B-6 Tablets (50mg), & the Holland & Barrett Complete B Vitamin B Complex (there is 10mg of B6 & 25µg of B12 in this). I also take 2x 20mg B6 (my dh got them for me in Hungary, as I started off taking 50mg B6 with the complex & increased the dosage to 90mg b6 (50+20+20) a total of 100mg due to the complex. I just read back to my earlier post I meant to type 25µg not 25mg, and I was referring to the B12 in the complex. I hope that makes sense Hmm . I asked the pharmacist at my local chemist if it was safe to take this dosage & I was told I would just pee out the excess. I also take Vit D, & folic acid, and I might also take a separate B12 vitamin, just to help with energy levels. Just to let you know that the B vitamins make your pee neon!!

laurasdream · 25/03/2015 21:19

Spinning I am exhausted from it! I had to stop using my cross trainer, as i was so weak & puffed from being anaemic..I have to take 325mg of Ferrograd everyday, and the worst thing is that I only have a 15/16 day break when my period finishes before my period begins again due to my short lp. My GP sent off several letters & that is why I am going to have an appointment in May! I was told that I was moved from the routine list to the soon list. I have to admit it is very hard to bleed that much every month & I often feel that I am left completely depleted...it doesn't help that I don't eat red meat!

victoria401 · 25/03/2015 21:38

How many days do you get red bleeding Laura? Sounds horrible. I usually get 3 days of red blood and then up to about cd7/8 brown gunge. I thought that was bad! Fingers crossed something can get your cycles sorted.

Cd10 here too. Don't know when to start dtd as dh is a reluctant customer and I dont want to peak too soon! Last month ovd on cd14 but prev 2 months was more like cd17/18 so I just don't know!

coffeenut · 25/03/2015 21:58

morning (evening) everyone. Flowers for roxy and juggling. Will you try again in the morning with fmu Roxy? When it is so slight like that I think you really need concentrated wee to pick anything up.

So my temp shot up again this morning. With all the mega highs and mega lows, it looks like the freakin' alps. Two more days until I test (10dpo) - is that too early do you think? dont say yes

laurasdream · 25/03/2015 22:01

Vitoria Tell me about it Hmm! I get red bleeding for 10 days.. Sad it just varies in flow..earlier I had a bit of brown spotting, but it's red again Sad.. sickening! I usually only get a bit of pink the night before AF arrives. I believe being on the pill messed me up! I am off it since September 2012, as it was giving me low blood pressure x

We try to DTD every 3 days when AF buggers, so that my DH' swimmers are at their best! I ovulate around cd 17, so we usually dtd cd 10, 13, 16 & 18. After ovulation we just DTD when we want.

wotsits1 · 25/03/2015 22:02

Roxy sorry for bfn. But it ain't over yet kidda! Keep the faith!

DizzyMerry · 26/03/2015 00:05

laura that sounds awful. I'm not surprised you feel depleted after bleeding for so long. I'm pleased you have an appointment in May and hope you get it sorted.
coffeenut I am a late tester but go for it if you want to. I have my fx for you.
I got a smiley today at cd13. My first smiley in 3 cycles so we dtd today and will continue until the weekend. Dtd on cd10 so hoping we'll have done enough

Sparkly123 · 26/03/2015 00:17

tessie hope dh feels better!! Brew Tomor is still good lovely stay positive. Nothing worse when you have to alter the dtd plans but I always think we analyse it all too much. Hope everything a bit better Tomor Flowers

laurasdream this sounds really interesting re LP. just after day 21 in my cycle I start spotting and worry about that. My day 21 are always around 28/30 but it's what happens after that worries me. I asked at fertility clinic but they kinda just brushed it off. How do you increase your progesterone? Did they prescribe pessaries? I want something done. Especially after my early mc in jan incase it was related but they just don't seem interested! It may be worth me going private for a consultation if I don't get anywhere with them. It's somewhere in the NHS nice guidelines about LP defects and "no evidence" etc etc so I don't hold out much hope. I really will keep everything crossed for you , your BFP is coming Flowers just read your further comments. So you are taking B vits to do the prog? Glad you have an app lined up. Grin

Roxy so sorry for bfn. Let's hope Tomor brings good news for you Flowers

Sparkly123 · 26/03/2015 00:18

Is anyone here not on CD 10! ?
I have lots of cycle buddies this month! Grin

BabyBumpHopeful · 26/03/2015 03:46

Can I get a hallelujah that I'm a day past ovulation and don't have to have sex now. OMG going to bed on time will be awesome!

victoria401 · 26/03/2015 06:42

A load of us must have synchronised periods from hanging out a lot sparkly! Lol!

Oh and didn't dtd, decided I liked the sound of 11 and 13 instead, why do even numbers eh?

cremedecacao · 26/03/2015 07:08

Cycle buddies!!! How are you all doing? Anything happening yet?

8dpo. Just got shooting pains in one boob, exciting! Also feeling super hungry, bloated and a little gassy. I know it is probably nothing and just start of pms... Come on April 1st!
