So I don't really know too much about this and am counting on people here to enlighten me. What should I be looking for exactly say around ovulation and then after? And does cervical muccous always change when you are pregnant? What about when you are just preganant, say 7dpo or 10dpo would it change then or would it/ could it be the same as your normal cycle?

Around ovulation it's clear and very stringy. Most people relate it to egg whites. This website has pictures of cervical mucus and what it actually looks like if you want to brave it.

In my own personal experience, a few days before ovulation I notice a jelly like cervical mucus that starts thick and gets looser until ovulation, stays that way a few days and then returns to my normal self.

When I was pregnant there was more discharge than normal, but it wasn't stringy and gel like, it was more creamy, if that makes sense, closer to what my normal non-pregnant discharge was like.

Sorry if this is TMI, it's hard to talk about cervical mucus and not. Grin
