Did you go off coffee when preg?

So I was feeling depressed this morning, thinking I couldn't possibly be preg this month because I'm on cycle day 20 of a 27/ 28 day cycle and have no real symptoms apart from my usual post O ones. As well I keep reading everywhere that when you're up duffed you go off coffee. Well me and my coffee mug are still very much inseparable so I'm pretty sure I can't be. I'm at around 7 dpo I reckon, I know I probably sound barking mad, and well, I am, I want a bubba so damn badly:( What do you all think, any of you not go off coffee when preg? Any of you have your usual cycle symptoms and no preggo ones and still find out you were successfully up duffed?

I absolutely went off coffee, it made me heave just walking down the tea and coffee aisle in Asda. But not that soon, not until about 5-6 weeks preg.

First signs were tiredness and sore boobs, before +ve test at 13dpo.

No, I went onto coffee! I was always a tea person but developed a love of coffee in pregnancy. Particularly the first half. Couldn't drink tea again until about 20 weeks or so.

I couldn't stand coffee - went off it before I had my positive tests. Second time round I knew what was going on! It took me about a fortnight to get out of the habit of making coffee - I'd make it automatically before remembering I wasn't going to drink it. Still liked the smell though.

I didn't go off coffee at ALL, with either pregnancy. But my mum went off tea when she was carrying my brother, and still can't drink it, 45 years on.

My first symptoms were an increased "dampness" Blush in my LadyGarden, and sore boobs with v sensitive nipples.

I completely went off the smell of sausages - that made me want to hurl. But that was later, like at 10-16 weeks.

I am completely off coffee and tea this time around, which is miserable.

I didn't have this problem last time!

But at 7DPO you can't assume signs of anything I'm afraid - much more likely to be coincidence than an actual symptom, even if you do turn out to be pg. Given that going off stuff isn't a reliable symptom, I think you will need to wait a few days to be sure :D

FWIW I had a BFN at about 7dpo but a BFP at 11dpo this time around Smile
