Okays so my last period was 31st January. And hasn't arrived yet. In extreme pain today to the pointni cough or walk I'm bent right over and reduced to tears. So partner went a bought a pregnancy test. I took the pregnancy test and he says he can see a faint line but I can't see one. So I then took a ovulation test and it has two lines but the pain I'm in doesn't feel right as I can barely move I'm in agony.

The ovulation test is the one with two pink clear lines and pregnancy test is the white one with blue writing

If you are in that much pain get it looked at asap. Line or no line, it shouldn't hurt

gingerbreadmam · 07/03/2015 21:07

i agree pregnancy shouldnt hurt that much i would seek some medical advice asap.

gaggiagirl · 07/03/2015 21:09

A positive opk at this stage in your cycle would indicate to me that you're pregnant. Opks pick up on hcg.
Anyway your hpt looks positive.
Tell me more about the pain. Where is it?

mummyneedinganswers · 07/03/2015 21:10

I'm just worried in case I go to a&e and its just severe ovulation pains and then I've wasted there time xx

I think I can see a line on the pregnancy test but you definitely need to seek medical attention.

gingerbreadmam · 07/03/2015 21:12

I duno if ud get severe ovulation pain to the point you are saying you are in pain. How long are you cycles usually? How may days late do you think af is?

StrawberryMojito · 07/03/2015 21:13

Is the pain a normal monthly occurrence for you? If not, get checked out, especially if you think you may be pregnant.

mummyneedinganswers · 07/03/2015 21:14

Down the very low end of my tummy, both sides of ovaries spreading right across each side. Its agony I never had this pain with my miscarriages before its actually excrutiating . the pain is sort of crampy but really severe all the time and then all of a sudden I get massive cramps and i I twitch in pain xx

Buts its 5 weeks since your Last period. How long are your cycles? Are you likely to be ovulating now?
I had something very similar I'll dig out the thread and link it.
I'm with the masses though, dont suffer, get some medical attention.

StrawberryMojito · 07/03/2015 21:15

Without meaning to be rude, get off mumsnet and get checked out.

OhFlippityBolax · 07/03/2015 21:16

Get to hospital

You suspect you're pregnant and in serious pain, it could be an ectopic and you don't want to mess around with them.

Sending best wishes

gaggiagirl · 07/03/2015 21:17

No one sided pain?. It sounds awful you poor thing. My pain was one sided.

AbiBranning · 07/03/2015 21:18

If you are unsure call 111 and ask their advice. Have you had pains like this before?

Showy · 07/03/2015 21:20

You have a positive pregnancy test and you are in a lot of pain. You need medical attention tonight. Now. Go.

I really hope you're back here in a few hours having spent a Saturday night bored to tears in A&E.

For now, just go.

gingerbreadmam · 07/03/2015 21:32

Agree with everyone else, best to get checked. hope you are ok.

mummyneedinganswers · 07/03/2015 21:45

pnutter · 07/03/2015 22:53

Good luck x

Oysterbabe · 07/03/2015 23:12

If you're in that much pain you might have an ectopic. I remember sitting with my sister while she was doubled over in pain with hers. To hospital with you.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 08/03/2015 12:00

Any news OP?

mummyneedinganswers · 08/03/2015 22:27

Yea they said the test was negative and put the pain down to ovulation and referred me back to gp but I'm so confused. I took two pregnancy tests today and one was inconclusive and the other negative but I also took another ovulation test as its should still show some sign of ovulation today after a very strong positive yesterday but its not its completely negative :/ so I'm pretty baffled has anyone any ideas ?

The test with pink lid is ovulation test
Tests with blue lid are hpt one with nothing in either window is inconclusive and other ones negative as far as I can see

Can anyone shed some ideas as to what's going on I'm so annoyed and confused as I don't know what to think xxx

It's normal to have a completely negative OPK after you ovulate. Levels of LH drop very quickly.

mummyneedinganswers · 12/03/2015 20:49

Okay so just an update. My last period was 41 days ago I'm waiting to test again in a week or so because if that positive opk was right then I have a wile before my next period. All hpt are still negative. Feeling really bloated and sore today have a lot of heartburn and hiccups for some reason and still quite a sore belly. Going to see what happens in next few weeks xx
