Advice needed on Ovulation Strips please

Hi everyone; I have a question which might sound stupid but just trying to work it out;

I had a mc last oct and been Ttc since November to no avail (last time I was pregnant within 6 weeks of having my coil out!!!) so decided to get an app on my phone and some ovulation strips to try to get it right. I've just been so upset these past few months.

My app says "high fertile ovulation in 2 days" and the past 3 days and the next 3 sun/mon/tue are highlighted as my fertile days but I've been using the strips all week and they are negative.
Sorry if I am asking the obvious but at what stage should I be hoping to see 2 lines to show ovulation???

I am driving myself and my partner insane so any help or advice will be gratefully received; thanks x

Keep doing them everyday, when I used them it went positive about 5 days after my app said I was fertile!

Also you get a surge of the hormone in a 12 hour window so you could be missing it. Maybe try twice a day next month xxxx

Thanks Reb; think I will do one at night aswell as in the morning in that case; what a performance!!!!
I hope I get a surge of something feel totally exhausted (mentally and physically!!!!)
Really hoping it works this month would love a baby before Xmas xx
