Do your periods go back to normal after a MC?

I had a miscarriage last month. The bleeding started on the 4th and according to my app thing my period should have started yesterday.

We have been trying so I took a digital test yesterday but got a negative Sad

Do your periods return to normal after a very early MC or am I just getting my hopes up way too early?

Mine did, but it doesn't mean that all will. I expect it will partly depend on how regular you usually are and how long it took your hormones to return to normal after the MC.

Usually very regular and my hormones dropped right down before the bleeding started Sad

How long should I wait before re testing if I got a negative yesterday? It wasn't first morning urine but it was one of those tests that says it can work 4 days early and was a digital one

It's very individual and can depend on how far along the pregnancy was.
I had a complete natural muscarriage at 8 weeks and my period arrived like clockwork 4 weeks later, just like in a normal cycle. But with my other teo MCs it took just about 5 weeks for a oeriod to arrive after and my cycles took a while to get back into sync.
I know a few friends who gig oregnant again immediately after a MC so I have my fingers crossed for you. Hope you get that BFP soon. Flowers

I'm in a similar situation I'm pretty sure I know when I've ovulated so now I have a kind of 2 week wait! I'll either be pregnant or it will be first period after miscarriage!

Hey Hurr1cane; I had a mc oct 8th 2014 and waiting six weeks for my period; it was the longest 6 weeks ever!
Xmas came and went and now we are still trying which is really frustrating - especially as last time I had my coil out and was pregnant after one cycle!!!
I wish you a the luck in the world as I know exactly how it feels xx

It is hard but as my mum keeps telling me; positive things happen to positive people ??
I have friends who have got pregnant directly after a mc and friends who've taken a longer period of time - everyone is different but it is a tad stressful, I'm driving my partner insane xx
