Clear Blue Dual Hormone - help needed

Hi everyone,

Hope you can shed some light for me!

So I've been using the CB dual hormone tests for a few months. Normally I have 2-3 flashy days and then my peak. This month I had no hormone detected for 2 days and then straight to peak i.e. No flashy faces first. Has this happened to anyone else?

I got the peak result on a Sunday, do you think I ovulated on Monday and should class Tuesday at 1dpo?

Hi Salad! This happened to me the first month of using these, and 2nd month I only had one day of flashing smiley. If you got the peak Sunday morning you're probably not far off in classing Tuesday as 1dpo I'd say.

Thanks Woolly! Strange how I had no flashy faces though as the hormone is meant to rise gradually, right? So that makes me 12dpo today - POAS yesterday and got bfn

Sorry to hear about the BFN give it another couple of days though you never know!
It could be that the estrogen rise (which is indicated by the flashing smiley) happens quite quickly for us. Also, when do you start testing? I started earlier last month (CD6, got flashing on CD10, peak CD11) to set a proper "baseline", so maybe try starting a bit earlier?

Yes I thought I might start a little earlier - this month I tested first on the Friday, nothing, Saturday, nothing and then Sunday peak. I knew Fridays would be nothing as it was a new pack and the first one is always like that isn't it? But I thought that Saturdays would be flashy if Sundays was peak. Anyways can't complain, at least I know Ov is happening. Thanks for your help

Yeah first one is usually like that I think. Hopefully with the extra day or two you'll see a flashing one this time round. Good luck and let me know how you get on!
