I've had lower abdominal crampy type pains all day. Sort of feels like I'm getting my period but it's not the right time. I had unprotected sex on Monday - could these be implantation pains?

I'm not sure if it's even possible. My last period started on 18th feb. Lasted about 2-3 days. Could I have ovulated as early as the start of this week? I don't really pay attention to my cycle most months.

The only other thing I'm thinking is that maybe im ovulating now hence the cramps? I've never suffered much from period pain in the past but my last period was so painful I had to take a day off work. I'm not sure if that could be connected to the cramps today. Or maybe I just have a stomach ache and am overthinking it!?

Definitely not implantation, far too early for that in any situation! Could be ovulation pain, but ov pain can occur a few days before, during or a couple of days after ovulation, so not possible to use cramps to know when you are ovulating.

When you can expect to ovulate depends on many factors, usual cycle length can help estimate it, as ovulation usually occurs between 12 and 16 days prior to your period, so if you have a regular cycle, it can help estimate when you might ovulate.
