Sparkly, I have often wondered how the disabled (I don't mean you, of course) go from being cared for in the most intimate and personal of ways by their partner to being a sexual creature. But that's love for you. Love lets us see the person with health issues as just a whole person - gorgeous and sexual as ever. I love that about love Don't you think you ov'd on CD16 then?

Sammy, it wasn't an empty promise; I'll be there to hand hold x I really wouldn't worry about barely-there periods. Loads of women get pregnant with poor flows. I'll bet yours is just a one-off. I agree IUI is shite. Laregelt it is because, if it is a sperm-meeting-egg problem that a couple is suffering then IUI is simply not going to work. Similarly if the problem is with the man's sperm being slow/double-headed/bad at map-reading then IUI is not the answer, despite the sperm being washed.

Tessie, thank you. Yes, depression definitely skews our perception of everything. I am fortunate in that I can rationalise these feelings. When I was in my late teens I simply felt life couldn't go on with these thoughts I was having

Yep Purds I think from my chart prob CD 16? Just a small rise. Do you therefore think one for luck tonight is pointless?! I wish my chart would go back to the norm of huge dip on OV day so I could read it better! And yes, it is very difficult going from one to the other.. My husband has seen it all.. Had to wash me, carry me to the loo, everything. So sometimes it's hard to jump between the two. But we do.for some reason he still finds me attractive even through it all! Ha. what's for tea tonight then love?

Spinning DD started sleeping through at 12 weeks. Unfortunately she started defying sleep at around 9 months and even now at 2 she will randomly wake through the night so it didn't bloody last long.

Saw GP today and she has arranged for me to have day 21 blood tests. I am on day 22 today so have missed the boat this month but to be honest I'm just relieved that I've start on this as I have been thinking of making an appt to see GP all month but kept putting it off as I really am starting to get anxious about it all again

Ok I have taken a look at the new stats and I have no idea how to edit them :( I'm afraid it will be up to you mummy and juney

Sammy I have no idea why either. Just guessing its a light month. Mine were really heavy on the implant and lighter since coming off it last June but no idea why this months has been so light.

Thanks Purdey, it's never gone back to being as heavy as it was pre pill so I guess it's been niggling at the back of my mind that maybe that's what was stopping us from getting pg.

I'm a bit late to the party I know but here are my stats anyway

It's hard but I really hope this will be the month, I think I O'd Sunday 1st March according to all my symptoms and the app I have seems to indicate that too considering my 27-29 day cycles are regular as clockwork. I usually use OP sticks but ran out this month so couldn't test...bleh

Anyway AF will be due on 16th or 17th, I might do a home preg test as early as 16th if she doesn't show her face or might try to hold out for the 18th.

Am symptom spotting like a maniac now of course, even though by all accounts I wouldn't be able to symptom spot yet anyway since implantation wouldn't have occurred but I'm sure you all know how it is. So far I've had pulling/ pinching feeling three days past O, bloating and sore boobs yesterday and day before, a little less sore today, but I think those are just normal post O symptoms anyway.

DTD four times prior to O day so cross fingers for me and good luck everyone hope you see that line. I don't feel overly hopeful this month as have been trying so long now without any joy and hubby has poor motility but last month when we saw the fertility consultant we were told his swimmers have improved so am feeling a bit more hopeful this month.

My consultant is all for iui and gave me 17-19% chance. She gave the impression that with the washing and progressive sperm put back in was a good thing. A few ladies I have chatted to on my clinics forum have got preg from it. The doc also said it was a good way to get my body used to the hormones and injections ready for an ivf cycle if iui failed.

Oh purdey I have trouble fancying dh when I watch him get ready for bed and his gut is hanging over his pants and his moobs are on show, and when he needs a hair cut and a shave.... He deffo looks better clothed! Lol!

Can you get preg from dtd 1dpo?

Welcome to the mad house Pierced fingers crossed for you!! Can I ask are you doing anything in particular to improve dh sperm? I know ladies on here who have seen huge improvements with supplements/lifestyle changes. I really hope you get your long awaited BFP very soon!

Victoria, DH is the opposite. He is as thin as a whippet and 6'5". Now, when I met him and he first got undressed I couldn't believe how perfect his body was: divers' legs - long and lean but great thighs; a washboard stomach (he has never ever worked out or done a single sit-up but he still has those indentations above his hip bones a la Brad Pitt in Fight Club); beautiful olive skin that is smoother than a baby's. However, he is not beautiful in the face and does not have great teeth and since losing his job and losing weight I can feel every vertebrae of his spine when he is on top of me which is not very often. I can also feel the bones in his buttocks slightly

Vic, yes you can conceive from sex at 1dpo, depending on how late on ov day the egg was released and how early 1dpo you have rumpy. I'll go and find you a chart to prove it...

Juney am interested to hear your bbt are higher than last month, how much higher? Mine are 0.4 higher than av pre-ov from last month. Do you think its this crazy Spring lark??

Victoria, I asked FF for pregnancy charts where sex only took place a day after they pinpointed ov and where there were issues with the fellas sperm. There were a few but largely IUI cases, which is interesting because I've seen hundreds of IUI charts where insemination took place the day after FF pinpointed ov. Just goes to show, eh?

Oh, Juney, the last chart is for you - the lady used frozen donor sperm and inseminated the day after her pos opk but FF pinpointed ov on the same day as the opk

Ooo thanks purds I was tempted to put that high temp back in so that it pinpoints ovulation on day 15 instead of 16 as I doctored my temps didn't I!

I'm cd4 today, got like 10 days to wait before anything starts getting exciting.
