Forgot to tell you all: I have my 2nd interview with Lancs County Council on Wednesday arvo at 2.15!

Also..I got my appointment through for the camera-up-my-ass gig: 16th March. I will be approximately 3dpo on that day so I rang 'em up and pushed it back to the 30th when my period will have come and gone. I was worried that the action of pumping gas up my arse and into my colon might cause distress to a teeny tiny embryo so I'm not risking it. This might sound bonkers to some of you but if you look at an anatomical drawing of your reproductive system your womb is right slap bang next to your poo pipe and other faecal organs

Haha Purdey, yeah, twice in one day. I do fancy the pants off DH most of the time. I think the morning was just for weekend lie-in fun and the evening was more prosaic...

CD2 - nothing to report, except a smashing headache. DH asked when we can DTD this month, I'm glad he's keen. All I want right now is co codamol and my comfy bed.

Oh lord, sorry for multiple posts but huge well done Purdey on your interview! I work for my local council (unitary authority rather than county), it can be frustratingly bureaucratic but I do enjoy it.

Wood, I agree you ov'd on CD18 but that preposterously absurd high temp on CD14 has discombobulated our dear FF who like to rely on their '3 over six' strategy for pinpointing ovulation (the first three temps post ovulation have to be higher than the previous six). Give the poor dears a few days to realise you're not an alien and they'll pop them there cross'airs right in (or, alternatively, you could erase that stupid temp and see what happens)

Sparkly, how on Earth does your daft MIL expect you to look after an 'orse when you're so ill?

Thepug aw she's lovely really, just irritating at times with that kinda chat. She knows about the early mc in jan therefore knows we are TTC etc. So she talks to me about it every so often. She used to be literally dying for grandchildren.. Now the other sibling has a dog (which I dislike. Sorry I know u all love doggies!) and it's like she's not bothered anymore so much as she spends ALL her time with the dog.

Coffee my husband is the same with the it will happen when it happens tripe! Ha. If he says it one more time...!!! Nooo I want it now!!

sparkly yes it was an AI conception it took 8 cycles but we got there. can't believe it has happened, thank you for all your support over the last few months you have been a star!

Trixie happy to give tips if it will help. We tried to predict ovulation day and do every other day a few days prior. we used preseed and I made sure I was totally chilled and stayed lying down with bum on a pillow for about an hour afterwards. purdey yep AI all the way we inseminated on CD 11, 14, 16 and 17. My app said I ovulated on day 16 but I didn't have a positive OPK so wasn't convinced I had even ovulated. I'm 35 and this was cycle 8 of proper trying but we haven't used contraception for a good few years so it is long awaited.

DH is tentatively excited but really wary about it being such early days. I'm just going with the positive and trying not to worry. I think I'll feel better once I've actually missed a period.

I'll stick around to watch you all get your BFP's!

eskimo my newsfeed on FB seems to be entirely composed of baby photos/updates! Somehow seems more so since we started TTC! Plus the slightly annoying clearblue adverts which keep popping up in "suggested" posts

AF just ended for me today. So tired though...

At the risk of outing myself, (and grossing you all out) one of my fur-babies had her anal gland burst Friday night :( . Luckily DH was the one who found it (in the morning after he got up, they sleep at the foot of our bed so there it was!) and so he cleaned a lot up. I've been wiping and cleaning my dogs butt of the "gunk" all weekend. Today was the vet trip for oral antibiotics. Vet was surprised it popped so large seeing she's so little, but also happy because it means it's flushed out properly.

I don't know about you guys, but I did not know that they had to get them expressed or this might happen.. in 12% of dogs. Poor munchkin. She's not a fan of her doggy diaper either, but she looks adorably pathetic in it :D
