Morning Smile

Boosk, yay for confirmed ov.

Dojo, fx af stays away.

Amy, good to hear the line came up quickly, exciting!

My temps rising slower than usual after ov but I've been aware I've been awake ish for a while before taking temp both yesterday and today.

nightandthelight · 04/03/2015 08:15

Commiserations creme that your coffee is not pregnant, it must be very disappointed Grin based on a second day of clear watery CM Ovia has adjusted my fertile window by a day and says that I am on my peak fertility day! Wish DH and I didn't work in separate cities so I could grab him for a lunchtime quickie!

If I don't get my bfp this month (which of course I will Hmm) then I will def use opks next month so I am more confident in when I ovulate. Presumably CM is relatively accurate though?

KnitFastDieWarm · 04/03/2015 09:09

Right, the next person to mention politics or religion will have pictures of cervical mucus PM'd to them on the hour every hour for the next week Grin This is an all-inclusive bus and I love you all. And your cervical mucuses (mucuii???) Hmm

I have spoken GAVEL

ANYWAY!

amy congratulations you lucky thing you!

fingers massively crossed for all tww-ers Smile

KnitFastDieWarm · 04/03/2015 09:11

And back to the KnitFast household shagathon....Mt Knitfast made the mistake of going to a new super-hardcore bootcamp class on monday, just as I got a positive ov test. I have now forced him to shag his way though severe delayed-onset muscle soreness for the past two nights. He can barely move his arms and legs...

The poor bloke is close to death, I fear Grin

nightandthelight · 04/03/2015 09:13

Noooo not the cervical mucus pics Knit!

KnitFastDieWarm · 04/03/2015 09:16

Bring in...the COMFY CHAIR!!!!

(and the cervical mucus pics)

BowiesJumper · 04/03/2015 09:22

Ooo amy congrats on the bfp!

Sorry to all that af has caught.

Dojo, fingers crossed for you!

Amyyy27 · 04/03/2015 09:23

thanks Bowies Grin

tessiegirl · 04/03/2015 09:26

Morning!!

Congrats Amy!

Juney I know what you mean about forking out for ff membership...I can't decide whether to stick to 3 months or go for the whole year. I think that if you become pregnant before you have come to the end of your membership the remaining months you have get transferred to the ff sister pregnancy site, so not all a waste! Smile

Mamapo, can I ask, have you got a background in forensics then?

Your poor DH Knit! Oh and Knit, why don't you like maggots?! I love them Wink, they are sooooo useful and fascinating. Honestly! Wink

Can I just say, we found out our wedding venue last year was one of the locations where Wolf Hall was filmed!!

Amyyy27 · 04/03/2015 09:28

thanks Tessie ! :)

MaMaPo · 04/03/2015 09:34

Knitfast hey, I didn't start it! But that's a fair punishment.

Tessie, yes, I'm a forensic psychologist. I spend plenty of time with very messed up people who have done some awful things. Work's never boring!

Vague pains in lower abdomen tonight, fuckitall. AF may well be here tomorrow morning.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 04/03/2015 09:35

ma your morning sounds great.
knit as long as he can still move the important bits Grin.
Ff recalculated my Ov day this morning from 12 to 14 so my tww just got longer. Although I did think cd 12 was a bit early.
Off to the hospital in bit for my scan, got drink 2 pints of water before I go hope the appointment is on time.

KnitFastDieWarm · 04/03/2015 09:41

Mama I think I was probably one of the startees...I will go and look at a picture of a random woman's cervix in penance Grin I did postgrad psychology and forensic psych was my favourite subject - I'm a bit jealous that you get to do it for a living I have to say Envy

Purple DH is still able to, erm,. do the necessary Grin but he's so knackered bless him! He REALLY wants a baby though, so is rising manfully to the challenge (pun fully intended)

wotsits1 · 04/03/2015 09:42

Well... My determination lasted an hour. 10dpo and I just poas (not fmu)... bfn! And I feel crampy! Booooo

MaMaPo · 04/03/2015 09:45

knitfast Yes, it's a great job to have, stressful at times, but wow, it takes a lot of work to get to the point of practising and getting registered. I was at uni for forever! I work now for a gvt group but thinking of branching out into private practice. Exciting (and lucrative!).

Enjoy your penance! Grin

KnitFastDieWarm · 04/03/2015 09:46

tessie maggots may be useful and fascinating but they are....wriggly [shudder] and writhy. And they are a funny colour (I know, I know!)

I also hate slugs, but snails are fine. I think it's the shells.

On the other hand, I love spiders and am the designated spider remover in the Knitfast household as Mr Knitfast is shit scared of has a healthy manly apprehension of spiders-- Grin

KnitFastDieWarm · 04/03/2015 09:47

wotsits you are 10dpo woman - STEP AWAY FROM THE PEE STICKS Grin

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 09:51

MaMapo, well done on the coursework. Your job sounds interesting. It must be hard to switch off at the end of the day though.

Knit, ahh CM pics are a form of torture i think Grin we'll done to your dh for carrying on regardless of his aching limbs.

spinningirl10 · 04/03/2015 09:53

Purple, good luck with your scan. I have mine on Monday.

Wotsit, it's too soon to be poas especially without fmu, wait a couple more days.

Hairstylisttoboris · 04/03/2015 09:56

knit my DH routinely does daft things like that too. Then he moans that he can't do anything other than lie there whilst I do the work...

juneybean · 04/03/2015 10:00

Morning campers!

OP posts:
MaMaPo · 04/03/2015 10:10

spinning it's not too bad, switching off. It was much worse with my old job, when I worked with young people with strokes and acquired brain injury. I was very involved with families as well, and with discharge, and people's situations were just heartbreaking. I found it very hard to leave work at work then.

Morning, Juney! I'm just off to bed. Wednesday was pretty good, hope you enjoy it.

juneybean · 04/03/2015 10:16

Sorry for AF Coffee what a bitch :(

I think, whilst it's good to abstain from alcohol, the yolk provides for the little embryo for the first weeks and I don't think accidental heavy drink would have an affect. If you chose to drink heavily after you found out... well ... on your head be it.

Sorry for your tea loss creme but try and dip it in your wee tomorrow eh?

Fingers crossed for you dojo

wotsit my cervix was up and down like a brides nightie in the 2ww! 10dpo is TWERLY!

purdey think GF is swearing on mumsnet! Shock I actually read her book and nodded along with

tessie I didn't know that about FF! Good to know but don't tell my womb...!

Okay okay!

Feel shattered today and like I could weep for no reason... So I'm guessing AF is in the post. Maybe should save myself some dosh and put the sticks away anyway!
