weird symptoms when trying to get pregnant

hey. i was just wondering whether there was anyone out there who could help me, as well as others in the future, understand weird happenings with bodies when conceiving. Personally, my dilemma is that now I gained the weight, my periods have always been within three days out of clockwork, but now I'm over a week late, tried two preg. tests. The 1st was unclear, the 2nd was negative. about 6 hours ago I went to the toilet and as I wiped my intimate area dry, I noticed blood. The amount of blood though made me curious, it was roughly the amount of blood you would get if you lightly cut yourself. I assumed that my period was starting, so I wiped again to check but there was no more blood. I decided to put a tampon on to go to bed, found it uncomfortable so removed it an hour ago, and noticed blood at the top of it. Still, there wasn't much of it. I'm tottaly confused and unable to visit the doctor until Monday. Could this be a weird sign of early pregnancy? Spotting before a period? Or a serious problem with my cervix?

It sounds too late to be implantation bleeding unfortunately. And it is possible to skip a period or fof them to go bat shit crazy if your weight is fluctuating a bit.
Have you been tracking your ovulation to check when you're releasing an egg? This may help as if you do release an egg your period is likely to arrive 14ish dats later. But if you release ab egg late this will have a knock-on affect of when your period will arrive.
Sorry, it must be so frustrating! Maybe pop to your GP too to put your mind at rest.
