Can someone explain this in simple terms? I've read that women's luteal phase is the same in each cycle but according to my calendar mine differ each month?

Hi, so it's the time between ovulation and the start if your next cycle (day one of period) a 12-14 day lp is considered normal, anything less than 10 days could cause issues when trying to concieve, though from what ive read, it's not impossible to fall pregnant if you have a short lp

Your luteal phase should be pretty fixed. What is leading you to believe it isn't?

Between 10 and 16 days is considered normal with 14 being the average.

It tends to be the early part of your cycle that can vary in length - usually your luteal phase the same each month. Although mine has just jumped from 7 days to 13 days with a little bit of help Smile
