Hi all...been following threads for a year or so but first time I've posted. My husband and I have been ttc since May and I just have a feeling that February's effort has worked. ...I'm even imagining symptoms! So how early can i test? my period is due on Saturday. .....

You can test as early as you like, whether you'll get a BFP depends on your own personal HCG levels. If you have good levels it will show on the test.

Most people say 10DPO at a minimum. Many tests say you're unlikely to get a result until the day your period is due or even late. Some women don't get a BFP until they're several days late. I had a friend who had BFN's with 2 of her kids and it took a blood test to verify.

If I were you and I had IC's then I'd start testing now :P If I didn't and I was spending a decent amount of money on the tests, I'd try and wait until Saturday.

In my case, FF says that I should test March 5, even though my period is due March 2. That's because I ov'd a little later in my cycle.

Dpo = days past ovulation.

So for example I have a 34 day cycle. I ovd CD22 and am currently at CD27, or 5DPO.

don't be too disheartened if nothing is apparent on Saturday. I didn't get my bfp until I was 6 days late...
