Hi everyone, wondered if anyone would give an opinion on the chances of being pregnant please? Had unprotected sex 4 days after ovulation cramps, on Sunday 15th. Felt very sick and clammy on the Tues, but didn't affect my appetite, had some mild cramping on the Thursday. This week..felt very sick again on Monday, like waves, did a test, negative, obviously! Lol! Yesterday and today diarreah everytime I eat, but appetite not affected, tested this morning, negative. I'm due on today, but no sign. Oh, also had discharge since last week. I'm in my early forties. Any opinions? :-)

Did you mean you had imported red sex each day for the 4 days after ivulation? Or that you ovulated and didn't havecsex until 4 days after?
If it's the first, then yes, you could be pregnant as you covered your fertile window.
But if the second option is right, then not so likely as you'd have missed peak chance.
That all make sense?

I would say not pregnant.

The way conception works the egg meet the sperm in the fallopian tubes. It takes 7-10 days (roughly) for the fertilised egg to travel down and implant.. sometimes resulting in cramps and light bleeding.

The likelihood of you having implantation cramps 3 days after sex is extremely low. Feeling cold and clammy, diarrohea etc, I would say you're probably sick. You could also have ovulated late or not ovulated at all.

Wait a couple of days and test again. If it's still BFN, wait until your period is due again as it's entirely possible to skip a cycle.

Thanks guys for replying...telling myself there's no way I could be pregnant, then spend all day symptom spotting. Time will tell I guess :-)
