Ectopic - When can be diagnosed?

When they say 5+ weeks for scan do they mean 5 weeks from conception or from last period?

AF is 3 days late and still BFN, on AF due +1 I had lower back pain all across my pelvis/ kidney area that was at times radiating up my back to my lungs in the morning then slowly went away. +2 same pain but milder when I got up, started having twinging pain around R ovary, which is the one that ovulated. Today when I tense my abdomen I can feel discomfort around that ovary, some general low grade discomfort in pelvis. Nothing has been more then 5/10 pain level.

DH wants me to have a scan for ectopic but I think they won't be able to see anything yet?

I don't know but a friend went two months with ectopic and only knew anything of it when her tube ruptured. No other symptoms until then, but she almost died and had to have multiple blood transfusions. But the pain you describe could also be kidney stones, I think? You could ask the gp?
