Hi purdy and everyone else from the feb bus sorry the witch got you all
5/6 dpo today and I had a sharp pain in my left side, it was there one min and gone the next. I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot and tell myself that for the last few months I have had every symptom know to man yet no BFP and that my body is an evil old hag intent on tormenting me!

On another note I was working away merrily today when a colleague came in with her two week old dd then I checked on Facebook and an old friend has just announced her pregnancy (that makes 3 in 3 wks) sigh dh shouted at me and told me to pull myself together as I have had my time and shouldn't be a looney

Not one to ever turn down a gin I assumed everyone would immediately know I was pg when I was drinking lime and soda, so I told anyone who commented that I'd given up drinking for Lent. Now I've mc I feel very entitled to one of your snails aurora but friends are now asking how not drinking is going and being all supportive

I think there are 3 courses of action and would like your advice:

1. Take this as an act of fate to improve my health and see it through, possibly becoming some sort of sobriety evangelist on the way.
2. Give up giving up and be mocked ruthlessly.
3. Buy soft drinks but top them up from a hip flask like a 15 year old at a house party.

I was a bit premature, had af pains but not actually come on. had bad news last night, one of our best friends died in an accident, and think the shock has held it up

Abfab- 36.5 is normal for me so I hope it doesn't indicate hypothermia! Lol. My pre ov temps are way lower! Xx

Shall be glugging down the caugh syrup from cd9- makes me feel like I am doing something and a little extra EWCM can't hurt... Can it?
Just wondering, does anyone have any stories to share of people TTC for more than 7 cycles that then got a bfp? I thought it may be good to hear of some positive stories to reignite my hope that it is only early days still and will happen soon? Fingers crossed for those testing soon

girl imo either 3 or (depending on who you are with) honesty about what's happened. You often find that lots of people have been through this and support can come from angles you didn't expect.
I'm not one to turn down a gin either btw

Thank you for your reply sammielou! Apologies for not reading back straight away, but I've just asked a question on the Feb bus and then it expired! Apologies for those of you who've heard my story before (I'm even starting to bore myself), but I came off the pill in November last year and by mid-Jan I hadn't yet had AF, so went to the doctor who prescribed Norethisterone, which brought on a withdrawal bleed. They did the Day 3 blood tests after that, which came back as normal, and from then, my cycle seemed to regularise itself. I had watery CM and a flashing smiley on clearblue digital OPK on CDs 10-14 and then a peak OPK on day CD15. (This was Feb 6th). I was then in the two week wait and expecting AF around 20th Feb. It didn't arrive, and still hasn't. Technically, I'm on CD35. I even went back to the doctors yesterday and he is referring my to gynae because I can't remember my cycles from before I went on the pill (I've been on it since I was 16 without a break and I'm 32 now).

Anyway, I had just decided to step away from the OPKs and other stuff for a bit, when I noticed what I thought was EWCM just now. Weird thing is, I also have some creamy CM mixed in there So I did the clearblue smiley test and got a peak smiley. No flashing or anything. So now I'm extremely confused! How can this be? I haven't had AF this month... Does anyone have any suggestions.

Again, so sorry to barge on here without really introducing myself , and writing such a long post. I am also mindful that I am being referred to the specialist, which could take 4-6 weeks, for lack of AF. Should I just be waiting for that and not thinking about TTC? What if (and it's a big if), we DTD tonight and I get pregnant, and not know that I am when I have my referral, and they poke around in there? Any help would be gratefully received!
