thanks southy! How many dpo are you? If I were you I would try to hold out until AF is due but then I can understand wanting to share a pos with DH.

mumof1 stick with the mobile site, it works fine.

tessiegirl · 01/03/2015 18:29

What is that drink Sparkly?!

Just cooking chicken chasseur, roast potatoes and veg here!

Southy84 · 01/03/2015 18:32

dizzy I got my peak smiley on sat 21st.... Too early isn't it :(

Mumof1sofar · 01/03/2015 18:32

On it now, thanks Dizzy x

kissinggiraffe · 01/03/2015 18:32

chasing I'm so sorry you're having a hard time. Ttc is a roller coaster of the worst kind.

I need some expert eyes cast on my latest opk taken at 4pm today.
Yesterday pm and this morning am the lines were not quite as dark as the test line and we're the same thickness but this one is as dark, maybe slightly darker but thinner than test line. Do you think it's a +?? If so when to dtd? We did last night. Tonight and sometime tomorrow? ?

Chasing, it seems as though that year of 'fruitless' ttc when depo was screwing with your body has taken its toll. A year feels like forever, doesn't it? Then to have suffered a mc and an ectopic must have been just devastating. Don't give up hope. Try to permit yourself, say, six months for your reproductive system to be fully raring to go from the date of your ectopic. In this time ( I know there's only three months left) try to do things that make you happy: sew; knit; walk; horse ride; go to the cinema regularly - do things you haven't done in yonks but have missed. It's really important to not let every corner of your mind be swamped with thoughts of ttc.

I don't want to patronise you but you are young and will get your second baby. Try to be patient with your body and imagine it is doing all it needs to do to be rid of the trauma of an ectopic pregnancy and its resulting surgery. In other words, give yourself a break, lovely Thanks

PurdeyBirdie · 01/03/2015 18:36

Kissing, yes that's a positive. Tonight, tomorrow and the next day are crucial, IMO. Then I would stop, personally (although we have seen charts like Sparkly's where she only ov'd three days after her surge).

P.s...bonny grape, dat.

PurdeyBirdie · 01/03/2015 18:39

Sparko, you poor lamb with that swollen gob. I'm so sorry you've been poorly. Your green mulch looks vile but I know it is the elixir of life for you, my love. I've been meaning to ask: are you dead slim with this uber-healthy eating regime?

Aurora, as a recovering alcoholic I find your booze-saturated posts very difficult to handle Sad

PurdeyBirdie · 01/03/2015 18:40

PA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Gotcha, Aurora! Grin

kissinggiraffe · 01/03/2015 18:43

Ah it was a lovely grape.

So that means we will have dtd 4 days in a rowShock unheard of. OH might actually die hope he fertilises me first
We are not 4 days in a row shagathon people!!

Avasmum8 · 01/03/2015 18:44

Sparkly we had a mmc October last year that was a 'surprise' but very much wanted baby, but due to getting a much better maternity package if we wait till march to ttc my DH has made me wait, but when u get used to the idea of having another baby (my DD is 4) I've just been so low with the whole waiting thing, but I can see where DH is coming from so haven't pressed too much on that. But I can't complain really reading through some of these posts a lot of women are go through a lot worse, it's gutting reading how long it takes some ladies to conceive :( xx

Southy84 · 01/03/2015 18:44

Hi purdey :) on the topic of alcohol I've given up alcohol for ttc (lent to my friends) and every time I get asked why I'm not drinking I have to do the whole "doing this for lent" speech- not quite sure what i'll do when lent is over!!!!! HELP haha

PurdeyBirdie · 01/03/2015 18:53

Oh, Ava Sad I can't believe your DH made you wait five months to try again after a miscarriage. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Southy, it's a tough one. I'm teetotal as I'm a recovering alkie and so it's not something I have to think about whilst ttc. It must be hard having to give the stuff up to try for a baby when there is no real evidence that it harms chances of conceiving. Do you have to give it up completely? I think the stuff the government puts out is politically-slanted and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Kissing, I didn't say four days in a row would be something DH & I could do. That kind of pressure-filled and contrived shagging ruined our sex lives forever Do what you can do without compromising your relationship.

Mumof1sofar · 01/03/2015 18:57

Hi purdey Smile

Ava, so sorry for your loss Thanks

Mumof1sofar · 01/03/2015 18:58

Is anyone here using anything to help them ttc? I'm using preseed. Only used it for the first time today (our first day of trying) but will stick with it & see how it goes x

Avasmum8 · 01/03/2015 19:02

Thanks Purdey ?? I know it's been driving me mad! But never mind! I'm also teetotal but only because I've never really liked alcohol my vice is coffee.. Last couple of days switched to some herbal teas but it's just not the same! ?? haha

spinningirl10 · 01/03/2015 19:05

Mum, I sometimes use preseed or conceive plus. Quite a few of us have used it.

Sparkly, dp can cook but doesn't have time so I do it.
That is a very green juice! I struggle with them like that. I always add abig handful of spinach or kale but I like fruit as well Smile

Mumof1sofar · 01/03/2015 19:07

How have you found it spinning? X

Sparkly123 · 01/03/2015 19:13

babybump hope your back gets better soon!

mumof1 yep I have chronic health problems so am often stuck in bed quite unwell etc. But make most of better periods when I can! And I use preseed. I tried conceive plus but def prefer preseed! Good luck with it!

Tessie that dins sounds lovely! Can't wait to eat a proper meal when this mouth heals! It's a kale, avocado, spinach, apple, and raspberry smoothie! Ha. Prob not quite so appealing to you!

Kissing that looks positive to me! Go! Go! Go!

purds elixir of life! Ha. Love it. It actually tastes nice I promise! I have literally been the same weight since I was 19.. Always slim, my dad is the same. I was a dancer my whole life from age of 2 until my ill health struck at 21 so I presume that's had a lot to do with it too.. Although even when I stopped -no weight gain. I eat a lot. A lot a lot. And even when I used to eat quite unhealthy- you wouldn't believe it- KFC, plenty vino/beer, McDs, crisps and chocolate constantly, I lived on zinger burgers and popcorn chicken from KFC ha- I still didn't put weight on. I know a lot of people who struggle with their weight hate hearing that but yeh, that's how it is for me. Confused

Avasmum so sorry to hear that. What a long time you have had to wait for too. I had a very early mc in January and all I could think of was trying again to move forward, so I can't imagine waiting that long.. Amazing you have kept so strong. I really hope you get your much deserved BFP very quickly now. Sending positive thoughts to you Flowers

Southy84 · 01/03/2015 19:13

purdey no real reason other than getting desperate and trying anything/everything. I hadn't thought of advice being politically slanted but that actually seems very possible! to be honest I don't drink loads but worry in the 2ww.

Mumof1 we tried balance activ fertility spray this month, really don't know much about it - saw it in boots and was last one on the shelf so of course I had to try it Grin anyone tried this and had good result?

kissinggiraffe · 01/03/2015 19:13

We'll give it our best shot purdey but I'll be amazed if it actually happens.....

Sparkly123 · 01/03/2015 19:15

Anyone watch the vintage classic that is Three men and a little lady earlier? I saw it was on and had to record. I loved it as a young one! Tom Sellick! Blush

spinningirl10 · 01/03/2015 19:16

Mumof1, it's ok. I don't mind using it but we don't usually need it and it can kill the moment if I rush out to pop it inWink

Mumof1sofar · 01/03/2015 19:18

Sorry to hear that sparkly. Thanks for the recommendation of preseed. Not tried conceiveplus. Your smoothie sounds amazing btw ??

Southy I haven't tried the spray but good luck with it! Hope it works!

ThePug · 01/03/2015 19:19

I've arrived on the March bus! Nice to see all Feb-bus friends and March bus new names. Have been offline a few days so need to read back and catch up with all the latest goss.

Delighted that I am now CD2 after panicking when I got to CD33 on Friday that my body hadn't yet readjusted having come off the pill in January. Hoping AF will be nice and short and it won't be long til Ov comes around.

Am going to start temping from tomorrow and see what that shows.

Have been away at in-laws all weekend where 2yo nephew was running riot - so cute but Shock such hard work!
