Hello everyone I am super new on here and just want to chat to someone going through the same things as me. Iv been trying to conceive for 15 months now and i am currently on day 2 of my first cycle of clomid. I'm excited to finally be taking this and hopefully it will get the ball rolling me. Just wanted to know if anyone else is in the same boat and wants to talk as im really struggling at the minute. Everyone I no is pregnant or just had a baby and today Iv found out my cousin who didn't even want children is now pregnant and I'm trying to be made up for her but really its pi**ed me of haha I no it sounds mean but I really can't help it.

Anyone out there the same?
XxX

Hi there

Didn't want to read and run! I'm only on cycle 5. I say only.. Feels like a lifetime so I can't imagine how 15 months feel.

How are you finding the side effects of Chlomid. Heard they were pretty awful.

Come and join the feb/March buses. All the girls are really lovely x

Hi Indiana15,

I'm also new here (this is my first post). I wasn't going to join as I'm worried I'll get too obsessed with this baby making business but I think that's happening anyway! Smile

We've been ttc for 4 months, I know that doesn't sound long but to me it seems like forever! You spend your life being told "It only takes one time!" and in reality it takes ages.

When will you know if things have worked this month? Good luck!! xx

Hey ladies thank you for replying.

I should find out if things have gone well on 21st / 22nd March so still a long way off yet but I'm trying to be positive even though it's hard.

Clomid so far is proving ok. It's strange really coz part of me feels like Iv had no symptoms at all then I worry that if Iv had none is it actually working but then another part of me thinks well I was really moody this morning and then nearly burst into tears earlier while watching baby otters on discovery haha so then I think ok yeah when they said mood swings they really meant it.

It doesn't matter if you have been trying for 15 months or 3 months when you get that negative result or your period it's kills you each month it's so hard xx
