..too early even for a sensitive test? (1st response).m I know it says 5 days before AF due but I'm sure I've heard a +ve result can be had earlier. Did one but it is -ve.Really want it to be +ve. Am really really tired - even on waking, but this could be as AF due nest wk. (Weds). Am I just testing too early because I'm so impatient for a BFP?

It is far, far too soon if you are sure AF not due until next Wednesday.

Do it not by AF due dtae but days after ovulatin if you really want to be early
I got + 7 days after ovulation, 4 days before AF due and that was with sensitive strip test.
1st response is not as sensitive as it makes out, I was pregnant but never got + with 1st resposnse until 2 days after AF due.
Plus expense
if you plan to test lots and early get yourself onto ebay buy strip tests for about £8 for 100
