Levonelle.... How effective is it :/

on the 26th jan I went to the hospital for a colposcopy, nurse told me all was fine, but to come of my pill, give it a mth, see my go and start a different pill. So that was my last pill on the 26th jan.
the first day of my last period was 30th jan. On the 14 of feb around midnight the johhny bust, also unprotected sex the morning after.
16th jan @ about 11.30am took the map. Thought that's that then. But online (dr google) I'm reading a lot about how bad this map actually is :/.
I'm only assuming i was ovulating?? I was on the pill for mths and mths b4 that??

Anyone??

Is this pill really as ineffective as dr google says

I used it once many years ago and took it about 36 hours after the condom had burst. It did not work for me and I got pregnant.

Omds..... I'm crapping it now, nothing I can do untill I'm due on. Too late for the copper coil.

Anyone else? Could do with some good outcomes regarding this map to ease my mind

Well when I was given it I was told that a side effect of the MAP is that it can delay your period for two weeks so "not to worry" if it was late Hmm The day my period was due but didn't come I tested.

I imagine with the First Response tests you could probably try in 2-3 days.

I can't actually believe this is happening. You think the doctor would of offered me the copper coil ect, seen as she knew it was the middle of my cycle ????

How long are cycles?
If you were ovulating on valentines day you're only 7dpo so there wont be much point in testing for another week.

Normally 28days, but I've been on the pill for so long I'm not 100% as I wasn't calculating or anything

I've used it three times over 12 years. Every time it worked. Different amounts of time in between taking it and sex and in different places in my cycle.

I've taken it twice in about 6 years and both times it worked. Once was only a few hours after and the second was probably about 36 hours, maybe longer. It's more effective the sooner you take it, how long was it between inter course and taking the pill? Xx

It was about 36 hours, so fingers crossed.
I also had map about 3 years ago, not sure what brand ect, but I remember havin cramps and a early heavy period, like 2 days after the pill :/ probably why I'm so concerned, as no side effects at all this time
