Oh Sparko how I wish I had a multipack of Twirls at hand. All I have is a pack of criminally teeny Snickers which I refuse to eat due to their dwarfish size. Behind them is a pack of 912 Wagon Wheels which, had my father taken any notice at all in the past 43 years of my chocolate biscuit predilections, would have said to himself in the shop as he was about to purchase them for me: 'Whoa there, Adrian! Stop! Think. Have you ever seen Purdey eat a Wagon Wheel? No? That's cos she'd rather eat the four day-old maggot-infested entrails of a roadkill badger. Put them down, twat.

'

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 17:35

Yes..Madonna and Child are back. Been down the canal to feed t'ducks. Th'usband's been teaching her to throw bread underarm Hmm

I just got my day 21 progesterone results: 122.5 Shock Pity the wrong frigging ovary'll've lobbed the bastard egg out. That glorious, life-giving oocycte will currently be languishing atop the promiscuous-sex-diseased tissue of my fallopian tube on the left, never to meet the eight syringes of spunk squirted up there with such sang-froid and quiet hope Sad

juneybean · 19/02/2015 17:36

Ohh purdey that's shittily frustrating! :(

loopylou1984 · 19/02/2015 17:39

122.5?! * runs off to check own results*

.... Mine was only 59.5! Am I low or is yours just super high?! It's the only result on the sheet that doesn't tell me what the normal range is.

Sparkly123 · 19/02/2015 17:42

Oh my goodness Purds that's some day 21!!! Can I have some?!? (Ok I know I know you only have the one functioning side and it would be unfair....)
Glad wee N-Doll got out to see the ducks. I can't recall what wagon wheels taste like... All I know is, I do love a blue riband!

Sparkly123 · 19/02/2015 17:42

Sammy you are good love. Mine is 28.6 and 30 ... So it needs to be 30 to confirm OV apparently. You are good!

loopylou1984 · 19/02/2015 17:52

Thanks Sparkly Smile x

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 17:52

Oh, Giddy, you're funny! I actually found myself copying your profile-turning stance and looking to the pile of ironing middle distance, wistfully Grin

Juney, when the hell are FF going to give you your crosshairs?

Aw, thanks, lovely eskimo. No idea about dry skin but I could've told you your acu man would attribute any positive bodily changes to his needle work Hmm Grin Tell him to shove the needles up his arse and shove his willy up your vadge.

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 17:55

Juney, isn't it? Bloody Wagon Wheels..

Dozygirl · 19/02/2015 17:57

missmrsmummy it was me who had the spotting issues. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant. On the same antenatal thread as frolic

I still like to keep an eye on all the people I met on the other buses but these threads move so much quicker now. It's such amazing support you all have for each other though.
Baby dust to you all Flowers

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 17:58

Sparkly Blue Ribands taste of sawdust. And that is all I want to say about that chav of a 'biscuit'.

Sammy my prog is so high because I probably released more than one egg due to the Clomid. This is precisely why I begged for the drug, but there is no way of forcing the 'correct ovary' to release those ancient and decrepit luscious eggs.

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 17:59

I have the electric pale green snot today.

As you were ladies....

Giddymamma · 19/02/2015 18:00

I'll have them purds. Don't like them either but af just arrived so in the mood to stuff face. Think she couldn't find me in the wilderness but the bright lights and warmth and chatter from our lovely bus caught her attention. What's it like on that one?! Confused

juneybean · 19/02/2015 18:00

purdey tomorrow, I can feel it in my bones (and have discarded that stupid reading the other day to see what happens...)

OP posts:
Nomio230 · 19/02/2015 18:01

Have you tried talking to it in a stern voice, purdey?

I don't like Blue Ribands or Wagon Wheels. In fact, I am not much of a biscuit person. I prefer my chocolate unadulterated.

Giddymamma · 19/02/2015 18:02

Hee hee, love the idea of little chavvy blue ribands wearing little blue hoodies on street corners. :)

Nomio230 · 19/02/2015 18:02

Knit, please, for the sake of my sanity buy yourself a frer!

eskimolaura · 19/02/2015 18:12

I love Blue Ribands and I love Wagon Wheels. There ain't much chocolate I don't like. Except Double Deckers. Yuck.

Purdey My acupuncturist is about 80 years old. His hands shake so much I worry that I'm going to get stabbed in the eye every time I go, so I wouldn't hold out much hope that his wrinkly member is still in working order. I do love the numb, tingly feelings from his needles though. Went this morning at about 10am and am still feeling them now. LUSH. Even if it's doing sweet FA for my fertility, I like it a lot :)

Knit How exciting! FX for you in the next few days.

Knicker Update: Still nil on the red/brown front. Cramps are back, but not as bad as yesterday. CD29 for me tomorrow. Debating about whether or not to POAS. Hmm

dojo123 · 19/02/2015 18:15

I'm rather partial to those Tunnock's Milk Chocolate Caramel bars. I don't have any, fancy one now though.

eskimolaura · 19/02/2015 18:22

Mmmmm Tunnock's Tea Cakes do it for me!!! :)

Sparkly123 · 19/02/2015 18:26

Sawdust?! Purds how dare you! They are a classic!! Reliving my youth with those! Oh remember penguins .. Do you still get them?! I like a Borders Dark Choc Ginger biscuit. £1 a pack in tesco just now, divine!

Giddy FYI I do not hang around street corners.. Often... Wink

loopylou1984 · 19/02/2015 18:28

Thanks for explaining Purdey Smile
Does it switch sides each month?

Eskimo - I love double deckers! The only thing I don't really like is bounty, coconut, bleaugh!
Really want some chocolate now! Xx

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 19:08

sammy, contrary to popular opinion the ovaries do not work alternately to lob an egg out. It is entirely random, so the left could release one four months on the trot and then the right or vice versa. Which is no problem at all if you have two tubes Hmm

So...I've been ttc for three years (barring nine months of pregnancy and three months of IVF prep). However, today I took a long, hard look at my charts and I can say, without doubt, that only ten of those months saw any chance of me conceiving. The rest were half-hearted, shoddy attempts with no sperm in situ for up to two days before ov (and we know sperm typically only lasts 1.5 days, right? Even with ewcm). I have wasted so many months by not adopting the AI method Sad

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 19:09

Tunnocks Tea Cakes are better than sex. Fact.

ThePug · 19/02/2015 19:10

Purdey I'm with you on the wagon wheels - there's something about the biscuit bit that always tastes like it is stale / gone off. I do like the chocolate and marshmallowy stuff though.

Had a quick browse past the pregnancy test aisle in Sainsburys today. Noticed they have the Clearblue double packs (not digital) ones for £4something with a reduced sticker. Thought about picking one up then remembered my colleague was also popping into Sainsburys and didn't want him to catch me red handed so quickly scooted out of there.
