sammy I'm in agreement with bounty. Yuk!
Showing my lack of UK cultural information - what is a blue riband?

DH was poorly today, spent most of it in bed, good wife that I am I kept annoying checking on him. Until he gave up and dtd. Haha. Poor man.
Still no idea what's going on with my ov, but we've dtd eod this month. Go us! Fingers crossed that's enough.

dojo123 · 19/02/2015 19:25

Purdey can I ask your opinion of my chart? My normal temp seems much higher than every other chart I've seen but I did get my dip yesterday paranoia slowly creeping in

Purdey Truth. Source: I live and work in Scotland.

mummyofonesofar · 19/02/2015 19:52

Wagon wheels, meh.. Bounty yuck! Blue ribands - can't eat them as my Dad always sang in the biscuit aisle the advert song "can't get enough of those blue riband blues" in the loudest deepest voice. Tres embarrassing!! But DP did buy me ben and jerrys cookie dough ice cream today when he got himself beers.

Cd24, 6dpo bored!!!

babsbunny · 19/02/2015 20:03

Purdey

I concur wholeheartedly.

juneybean · 19/02/2015 20:05

Ughh insensitive friend private messaging me and a couple of others all about her pregnancy, despite one girl having been trying for 18 months unsuccessfully and me having spend thousands. Now she's moaning she hasn't got a bump. Just want to shake her.

babsbunny · 19/02/2015 20:12

Juney. That sounds a bit jellyfishish. Hope you are ok.

Right so af due today. No sign.

However, if the old mare is going to show up this month, she had better wait another few days. That way I have a fighting chance of being in the same country as dh and his swimmers next month...

babsbunny · 19/02/2015 20:14

Suddenly the thought of taking a cycle out of the game seems like the end of the world.

WinterBabyof89 · 19/02/2015 20:20

juney sorry to hear your friend is being such a douche.. self absorbed friends are the worst! Especially when such a sensitive topic is being discussed!
I'd have to say something to her...

I told my BF that if she booked her wedding for my dd's birthday she would be down a bridesmaid ha.. I wasn't being a bitch unnecessarily because it would have been dd's first birthday, & she is quite self centred so wouldn't have considered my POV had I not put it out there..

On the topic of chocolate bars - Gold bars are by far my fave ever!
Bountys - yes please
Wagon wheels - agree with pug about the stale taste, but will eat in dyer times!

BowiesJumper · 19/02/2015 20:23

My bezzie mate at work is pregnant and it's really hard to watch her rubbing her belly all day. And yesterday she came out with the gem- you only have a 15% chance of getting pregnant each month. But I managed it first month! Ha!

I just smiled...

juneybean · 19/02/2015 20:30

Ughhhh Bowie's that's the worst! This one caught first month too.

I've tried ignoring her and she did message a few weeks ago asking if she had done something to annoy me but I'm a total wuss.

Fingers crossed for your timings babs

On the subject of chocolate, all of it, in my mouth!

MarysPrayer · 19/02/2015 20:32

Bounty?! Blurgh [pukey icon] I'm with Nomio, chocolate is fine without adding any of these 'impurities' (unless it's caramel, then that's ok)

Oh frig, I'm feeling really crappy tonight. Having promised myself I'd wait until tomorrow morning to poas I caved and got a bfn tonight. I think I'm 12dpo so hope is fading fast for me. Pre AF crankiness is also in full swing. Wake me up in about 12 days!

babsbunny · 19/02/2015 20:34

I'm not so sure all the ones who say they get preggo first shot are actually being straight... It's more bloody difficult than that!

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 20:38

Bowie, your mate is wrong: it's 20%. She sounds like a knob terribly considerate sort.

Juney, would your mate like a bump right at the back of her skull? I know people.

Dojo, for ov to be confirmed by FF the first three temps after the nadir (dip) need to be higher than the previous six. Why the open circle this morning? I think it's messed things up.

Andy Sugden is just about to try and kill himself on Emmerdale and so I am going to retire to bed. Nanight, gorgeousies Smile

loopylou1984 · 19/02/2015 20:39

Bowie I hate that, the belly rubbing I mean!
I have a pregnant colleague too, and sometimes I can't even talk to her for fear of the belly rubbing starting.

I swear if I ever get a bfp I will refrain from belly rubbing/complaining about my bump getting in the way/talking about pregnancy unless people ask. You never know who is sitting near by struggling and I just think insta differs don't even think about it.

Yes to gold bars, they are amazing! X

WinterBabyof89 · 19/02/2015 20:40

bowie what a thing for her to say! I hope you congratulated her on her amazing fertility Hmm

Sometimes people say silly things don't they

juneybean · 19/02/2015 20:42

Marys !!! Naughty!! Twerly and too late in the day!

Purdey Grin Yes please! Sleep tight love!

OP posts:
MarysPrayer · 19/02/2015 20:44

Oh juney I hope you're right. Really not feeling it though.

Nanite Purdey hope you sleep better tonight.

WinterBabyof89 · 19/02/2015 20:46

Funny about the bump rubbing - I completely get why it's painful to watch.. I've steered clear of all pregnant relatives recently for that very reason, and will continue to do so for a while I think.

However, with any future pregnancies that I may have I will spend all day, every day rubbing my belly because history has taught me that pregnancies are all you might get. I regret not rubbing my belly more whilst I had the chance.

Just another perspective on things I guess Smile

MarysPrayer · 19/02/2015 20:48

winter Flowers [unmumsnetty hugs]

dojo123 · 19/02/2015 20:49

thanks purdey hopefully my temp will stay up tomorrow and Saturday to confirm OV.

mummyofonesofar · 19/02/2015 20:52

My dad invited me to dinner to meet a couple of his friends who he knew through work when I was pregnant. I was a bit low so thought he was invite me to tag along to cheer me up. Get there and find out they had been trying for years and ivf hadn't worked and they were just starting to enter adoption land! I felt so awful the whole time trying to not talk about my pregnancy. They were lovely and kept asking me questions about how I was getting on and didn't seem too hurt by the non thought my dad had inviting me. But I felt so awkward the entire evening, I can't imagine how they must have felt.

pulpi · 19/02/2015 20:53

Cycle day 24. Almost 100% sure I'm not pregnant, but waiting for AF to kick me off the bus officially this Monday (Mondays are the worst). So do I go for a wee lager or not?

MarysPrayer · 19/02/2015 21:02

Similar here pulpi (cd 26, AF due Sat/Sun. We'll sit together on the March bus Smile).

nightandthelight · 19/02/2015 21:03
