Thanks winter They do take a LONG time and, when it's something a little out of the ordinary, like the lavender bag sachets I made for my bridesmaids, they can be quite tricky.

Giddy me old mucker! Glad you're back, you crazy mare. You're safe now, and with friends. Isn't it funny how a few days can feel like forever? Time has s.l.o.w.e.d. right down since I have been TTC.

Juney, I reckon you have about 3 more days before you start obsessing. Enjoy these days!

Giddymamma · 19/02/2015 13:05

Hee hee juney....

juneybean · 19/02/2015 13:06

Hi Eskimo!

mummyofonesofar · 19/02/2015 13:51

Wow at all you who can crochet. I was taught to knit by the WI in a mums groups I went to when DS was tiny - I knitted a long "thing" without any shape and was so proud of myself - I promised myself I would properly learn....my needles are under by bed with the wool and haven't been touched in the last 6 years except to move house. Used to love cross stitch too but takes so long!!!

BowiesJumper · 19/02/2015 14:10

I started crocheting last year - just the basic stitch and I'm halfway through a blanket. I think it will stay half finished for quite some time!!

spinningirl10 · 19/02/2015 14:35

Haha for anyone who hasn't seen Purdeys pic of Nancy today it's worth a look, so funnyGrin

Love the knitting pics, well done ladies, I'm crap at knitting!

Woohoo bfps......bugger I've forgotten whose they areSmile congratulations to you both thoughGrin

spinningirl10 · 19/02/2015 14:36

Oh is it crochet not knitting? See I said I was crap, I can't even tell the differenceSmile

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 14:46

Spinning mine is knitting, so no you're not! Grin

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 14:49

quick cycle query ladies!

I am now on cd29 which is the day i would expect my period to start - does this count as the first day of my missed period, or is that tomorrow?

My cycles vary from 24 to 28 days but have never been longer (so far)

Have none of my usual af symptoms i.e. that 'dragging' in the belly

poas has been inconclusive - squinting, not using FMU, etc

Plus, tomorrow evening we are on holiday, having a cocktail party - CAN I DRINK? Grin

Confused
KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 15:06

removed this yesterday's and this morning's tests from bin and there is a definite blue line on today's and a very faint one on yesterdays

I know they are probably evaps but isn't that a bit odd?? I've used both blue and pink dye tests before and never had anything like this Confused

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 15:14

This is the line - it looks blue to me? test is a numark pharmacy cheapy. I binned it after about four mins so no idea when the line appeared!

The wheels on the February bus go round and round
WinterBabyof89 · 19/02/2015 15:19

It does have a hint of blue doesn't it!
I bloody hope that's your bfp! Any chance you could do a pink dye one tonight or tomoro?

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 15:20

I'll get hold of a pink one for tomorrow am - the trouble with that line is that it could have appeared after 5 minutes or an hour - I have no idea! And they say ignore any result after ten mins.

Ah well! We shall see....

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 15:22

I've done a LOT of pregnancy tests in my time (misspent youth Grin) and never had anything that even resembled a line, even after fishing them out of the bin days after to have a paranoid check, so I am feeling cautiously optimistic, especially as this line is much more definite than the one yesterday.

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 15:23

if that is an evap, please do tell me, I can take it! Smile

KnitFastDieWarm · 19/02/2015 15:27

BTW the line is definitely blue IRL

overexcited emoticon

WinterBabyof89 · 19/02/2015 15:31

I have become oddly invested in the outcome of your piss sticks knit ha I'm excited for you..

Hoping somebody can shed some light on possibility of an evap - I'm hopelessly optimistic about everything so no use to you on that front !

But it's blue, & result is stronger than yesterday so it's looking good (I think)

PaddingtonFromPeru · 19/02/2015 16:11

Still no AF. Still on knicker loo rush check. Went out at lunch, unable to bear it anymore, and POAS (cheap one ) but BFN. Hoping it is the cheap test, but will have to be patient I guess.
Good luck knit. Hope it is a BFP.

spinningirl10 · 19/02/2015 16:15

Knit, I really don't want to put a damper on things but it is more likely to be an Evap line after all this time. I really want to say different though! Can you poas now?Grin

PurdeyBirdie · 19/02/2015 16:48

Knit, if I were your doctor (and let's face it..I am) I would be telling you to go to your bed for the next nine months as you are now a delicate and quite frail pregnant women Smile

I have been in bed almost all day with what feels like some weird and pathetic post-traumatic depression from yesterday. Or it could be because I lost my phone in the hospital. Anyway I have just risen from my bed and come downstairs to find no husband or baby. You don't think soc services have been, do you? Hmm

Sparkly123 · 19/02/2015 16:52

Knit test again with a Frer Tomor! There's something there for sure!!

Purdooo oh nooooo. We need to buck you up! Your husband is a gem, Obvs wee N-Pants is off out on an adventure with him... I hope she isn't in too much pain. Poor you though. Flowers twirl multipack, alpha bite and fish finger sandwich called for! Id offer you some left over quinoa but I think it may push you over the edge..! Cake double choc velvet cake instead?

juneybean · 19/02/2015 16:53

Eeee knit!!! I think that's a line!

Purdey I don't think they take husbands as well.

Good afternoon ladies.

Well me and the DH did try and DTD last night but it didn't really work out as we were knackered, tried again this morning and success! Grin.
So this month we have DTD CD5, 7, 9, 11, 14, 15 & 16. I had a dip in temp yesterday morning and it was back up when I temp'd today so thinking I OV'd CD15.

That means I am now in the 2WW. Bring on the symptom spotting!!

Congrats to all the BFPs.

loopylou1984 · 19/02/2015 17:15

Purdey hope you're feeling better and have located husband and baby?

Well ff has put me at 3dpo today although I'm not sure, I'm thinking 2 as the first temp after what they're calling ov is not very high. It's way up today though which I'm pleased about :)
