Excuse is dh is never home by the time it's on so it's my half hour of uninterrupted guilty pleasure! Lol.

Giddymamma · 24/02/2015 20:53

I'm 7dpo today and no real symptoms. My temp is remaining high, but not that much higher than pre ov.

Contemplating bed before 9:30pm may be a symptom tonight... but I can putt that down to dd having a few restless nights!! AF due a week today, time is d r a g g i n g!!!!!!!

letsdothisthing · 24/02/2015 21:27

Oops putt = put I hope you all realise!!!!! I'm not a moron ;-)

WinterBabyof89 · 24/02/2015 21:28

giddy I'm very well thanks Smile just tottering along..

Does the book you have feature a classic teddy bear pattern? If so, I have made that.. Might still have a pic on my phone.. It was so easy to do (probably easier than the t-Rex as it's with chunky wool).. Didn't get chance to do the waistcoat as it was a last minute knit..

Can't wait to see your t-Rex!!

Hello, just had a quick read back. Hope everyone is ok!

bowies congratulations!

Mmm, twirly bites! Love them!

winterbaby what a gorgeous bear - you're so talented!

ann fx you are ok and the little bean sticks x

I'm on CD25 and this is unheard of for me - no spotting or AF.

Probably the b-complex but I'm starting to get my hopes up now... DH doesn't want me to test until the weekend. I think he is right, if I do actually get a bfp I will be astonished after all this time trying and I will need to get my head round it! Wouldn't be able to go straight off to work!

Giddymamma · 24/02/2015 22:10

Argh, winter, that's gorgeous! We have the some book! Hm. Did the T Rex cos had green wool. Should probably choose patterns on more than that. :)

Ann, fab news on line!

Nomio230 · 24/02/2015 22:24

Sounds promising, missmrs.

Ann, congratulations!

Eskimo, I really feel for you. I hope you get an answer soon. I have my fx for a bfp for you.

Purdey, I really, really hope you are pregnant. It would be so amazing. Are you testing again tomorrow?

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 22:32

Who is Tom?

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 22:41

Thank you, Rainy, how are you doing?

Eskimo, the Norestherone brought on an artificial bleed, right? Day 3 bloods showed normal levels of FSH, LH & estradiol, I presume? Which should guarantee ovulation. Except we don't know for sure if you did ovulate, because we know women with ovulatory problems and long cycles frequently get LH surges and positive opks. I just don't have a good feeling about a 33-day-as-yet-no-AF cycle that was started artificially. I do hope your AF arrives of its own accord soon, otherwise it is to be assumed you did not ovulate and need help realigning your hormones (which is easy-peasy, so don't worry). Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor and should probably zip my cake-hole.

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 22:43

Nomio, you are such a sweetheart for wanting this for me. I want it for you, too, very much Thanks

If my temp is still high tomorrow I certainly will test again.

Aaaaaaaaaaargh!! That knitted bear is absolutely gorgeous! There is a tot in her cot upstairs who would be supremely pleased to cuddle that little chap.

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 22:50

How on Earth do we long-time-TTCers sustain this inexhaustible capacity to keep on believing we might just be pregnant even after two BFN's at 13 and 14dpo? We either have deep wells of optimism or we are plain stupid (and by 'we' I mean 'me').

eskimolaura · 24/02/2015 22:52

Purdey I agree. I don't have a good feeling either. Yes, it was an artificial bleed, and yes the blood were normal. The only thing I'm holding onto is the fact that my CM seemed to follow the signs of a 'normal' cycle, in terms of being watery before the positive opk, ewcm around 2-3 days after and now it is sticky and tacky, so at least that is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Wish I had a chart to show you!

I am going to wait until Friday, and if still nothing, poas just to make sure and head off to the doctors if BFN. The doctor did say that he wanted to see me after me blood tests, even if all was ok, which it was, and he seemed really supportive and nice, so I am happy to go back. When you say 'realign the hormones' are you talking about clomid? Do I have to have Day 21 blood to see if I ovulated? As I am not sure how they will do that with no AF? Thank you for your advice.

eskimolaura · 24/02/2015 22:56

Also (sorry for all the questions), the doctor can't actually prescribe clomid can he? I'm sure he said that he couldn't last time I went (as I asked about it even back then!). Would I have to go to a fertility clinic? How long do you think it would take? Confused

MissMrsMummy · 24/02/2015 23:00

Oops, spoke too soon and have spotting now! Gah.

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 23:02

Yes, eskimo, I mean Clomid. Only gonadotrophins will kick-start recalcitrant ovaries that simply won't lob out their eggs. Even PCOS-ers have all the 'right' vaginal secretions at the 'right' time, but don't ovulate. I can't remember the science behind it, but a good doctor would get you referred and a consultant would monitor you closely on Clomid (scans in the follicular phase to check your ovaries are responding) and take blood seven days after ovulation to check progesterone levels. It's great that your GP is sympathetic Smile

loopylou1984 · 24/02/2015 23:03

Lol Purdey, Tom is a 14 year old character in hollyoaks who managed to impregnate his 14 year old gf from having sex once! We hate him.

Good luck for tomorrow everyone - high temps and BFPs all round please Smile

My house feels like a furnace tonight, how am I supposed to get an accurate temperature in the morning when the room is this hot?! The thermostats not even up high! Xx

WinterBabyof89 · 24/02/2015 23:04

It's feet look a bit uneven in that pic but it's because I'd squashed the foot whilst stitching the number '1' on in the car.. Not that I'm discriminating against wonky feet.. Equality for all!! Anyhows..,,
I loved making that bear as it was a couple of weeks after losing DD. It gave me a focus and pulled my head out my ass to realise that life moves on & doesn't wait for any fucker scuse my french

purdey all of my fingers crossed for you this month!

giddy that's exactly how I choose most of my patterns haha... Visiting the wool shop later this week so looking forward to getting my hands on some baby-butt soft yarn...

Good luck to anybody testing soon, but more importantly good luck to those sexually harassing their DH's in order to be filled up to their necks with sperm.

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 23:04

Crossed posts, Eskimo. That's correct; only a fertility specialist can prescribe Clomid. When I was referred it only took a few weeks because, I suspect, there was general anxiety that I would die of old age first Hmm

Giddymamma · 24/02/2015 23:08

Aw winter. Bless you. Xxx

Night ladies, Iooking forward to seeing some bfps tomorrow. Xx

juneybean · 24/02/2015 23:08
