He nearly lost his job over it, was very lucky to keep it. He had it reduced to 18 months on completion of the course but at 18 months he failed his medical due to still a high dependence on alcohol and his blood test showed long term alcohol misuse. It was the kick he needed. 4 months off the sauce and he passed in December, only just got it back though! He is chuffed to bits. as an I!

Sammy trouble is, I don't know what's usual and what isn't! Haven't had a real period since coming off the pill in November. Thank you, though- I need the reassurance that I'm still in the 'normal' range and just worrying unnecessarily. Sorry for the AF like pains- I had them this time last week. Could it, might it, be a sign of implantation for you?

I doubt it Laura, after 15 months of this feeling meaning af was coming in the next week I wouldn't have thought this lot of cramps would be any different.

Sparkly I went to the doctor's in mid Jan and was given Norethisterone to bring on a withdrawal bleed, so they could do the Day 3 blood tests, which came back as normal. I've counted that bleed as a cycle, so I know I'm on CD33, and I got a positive OPK on CD15, so think I may have ovulated, although I don't chart , so don't know for certain.

I just don't know what is typical for me and what isn't- I can't remember my cycles at all before I went on the pill...

purds he isn't teetotal but no longer drinks on school nights and on Friday (his birthday) was trashed after 8 cans trying to keep up with his friend and was nice and went straight to bed. He used to drink 3 litres every night (then start on my wine in the cupboard) and be an arsehole and have a big row with me. It was only when he failed his medical he realised he had a problem - I had been making it up to be mean apparently.

When he failed I said to buck his ideas up or if he didn't pass in December I would leave him. He did really well and I am so proud of him gush gush gush
