It is a terrifying world out there. With so many temptations and dangers. All we can do is teach them from our mistakes. And guide them hoping they won't have the same mistakes again. My DS's birth Dad was violent and it frightens me when DS shows his angry side. It also frightens me that he will find us and want to be involved. Had a really lifelike dream about my ex last night wanting contact again. I would do anything to protect my Son and any future children but sadly we can't wrap them up forever.

PurdeyBirdie · 21/02/2015 09:39

Yes, Juney, record the low one. FF says such drops are not to be worried about if they are one-offs. If they were peppered throughout your LP then that's a reason for a trip to the GP.

BowiesJumper · 21/02/2015 09:44

Some of you have been through so much. Such strong women, I admire you all!

Paddington, congratulations!!

Purdey, I'll lob my chart up for you!

ReeRee86 · 21/02/2015 10:01

Good Morning Ladies

I am a long-time lurker, don't join in because I generally don't have anything helpful to add but I laugh along with you absolute bunch of loons on a daily basis!

Forgive me for gatecrashing but I have a little bit of a situation and I know you have some experts on here so I hope someone can help me out!

I am 12DPO but have been spotting since Wednesday (9DPO). Temp also took a massive dive to below the coverline today.

Have been TTC first baby for a year, actually went to the Dr's last night and she has referred me to the fertility clinic.

Got my box of tricks from the Clearblue study yesterday which contained some HPTs which (as we know) is just too bloody tempting so stupidly did one this morning, you know "just to check" and I think it might be a very faint positive.

What does this mean? It just seems so cruel, I have never had a sniff of a BFP before now but it can't be a good sign if my temp has dropped can it?

Hi reeree! Can deffo see a line there. Did that come up within 3mins?

Let's see your chart!

BowiesJumper · 21/02/2015 10:13

Here's mine purdey. It reckons I'm 5dpo MAYBE because I was hot this morning. We'll see if that's sustained tomorrow as I'm generally hot!! (Sooo hawt).

It's possible I had another lh surge in the two days I stopped testing but time will tell. I'm taking it with a pinch of salt for now.

Hi There!
I'm new. OH and I are getting married in a couple of months and plan to ttc our first immediately after. However we haven't exactly been careful for ages. My period isn't due for a week but for the last few days I've felt nausea and I've been so windy (sorry!). I hope I'm pregnant even though that means I'll be knocked up for the big day!

ReeRee - I can definitely see a faint line.

ReeRee86 · 21/02/2015 10:19

It did come up within 3 minutes. I have also just done two more pink dye and the lines are much more obvious.

Have attached my chart for you too!

Is it likely to be a chemical with my temp dropping so low?

reeree they're good lines! Yay!

I have no clue about temps so can't advise but just wanted to congrats (& hoping it's not a cp!)

mummyofonesofar · 21/02/2015 10:31

Congrats reeree fx it stays stuck for you Flowers

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 21/02/2015 10:34

Just dropping in to say congrats for the bfp's - especially paddington as we're the same age! I told DH we need to try 3 in a row this month, but he said it's too much for him!!
Sorry to hear of the MH struggles, DH is a RMN and he loves his job working with the patients, but finds working for the NHS so frustrating for the reasons you have mentioned.

tootsroots · 21/02/2015 10:38

Wow ! Go reeree !!! Congrats!

purdey my mum suffered mh issues, shocking domestic abuse and three horrid marraiges - she is my idol- so strong so funny and eccentric. We were poor as church mice growing up but she taught me what hard work and being nice to people got you and acceptance of good or bad emotions - I have suffered from depression and PTsd after an accident and broken back - got told I would never conceive at 19 due to hormones and family history. Mum had 13 pregnancies and there is only me And bro here today. She wasn't meant to carry babies.

I am happily married , great looking , clever, strong humble Grin
and bloody minded and now quite successful in the city and its coz of my mum and her life experience. Think of how incredible Nancy will be if she is even 10% of the women you are today!

My mum might even be a grandmother in 8months. ( not that she looks a day over 45 Confused being a sexy 63 granny might be hard for her!
Cb plus last night and frer with fmu today as bus instructed me yesterday.

Oh bloody hell! I thought I would tell dh instantly but his bro stayed last night and they are off to their mothers today untl Sunday night so no chance to tell him !!! Agony.

WinterBabyof89 · 21/02/2015 10:57

Congrats toots!!

And sorry for spelling your name wrong before paddington .. too lazy to proof read

babsbunny · 21/02/2015 11:02

Woo congrats ladies!

tootsroots · 21/02/2015 11:16

Also as crazy as this sounds - not a smudge of a symptom - not a cramp twinge sickly gassy spotty even af due symptom . No spotting either! Nothing - I feel boringly normal.

mummyofonesofar · 21/02/2015 13:15

toots congrats!!! Fx its sticky. Sorry you had a hard time growing up. I bet you can't wait to tell DH Flowers

PaddingtonFromPeru · 21/02/2015 13:29

Thanks purple. I nearly killed DH with my sexual demands!

juneybean · 21/02/2015 13:39

Congrats to Ree Ree, Toots and Paddington!

*Paddington- you're the same cycle day as me, so it's good to know there's still a bit of hope! Still no AF here...

Mummy You have been through so much; you must be so strong- like a lot of women on here. Flowers to you all.

Purdey Totally agree with the others and think you should write; you've had me laughing and crying on here, so you'd be awesome at a full-on book! It might also be therapeutic for you?

Something that made me chuckle last night- my DH said to me 'Come on then DW, let's go to bed...' When I looked at him and said 'You what?', he said 'DW- Dear Wife, haven't you been on Dadsnet recently?' Cute.

tootsroots · 21/02/2015 13:50

Mummy - I would say personally I had the best childhood- I loved it! A walk in the woods or playing in a field beats an expensive computer
Game memory hands down!! My mum just had a tough life but I was lucky she brought me up so well regardless.

I have just bought a tiny baby's gro to give him when I tell him Tomrrow! Oh dear! Hope this sticks...

How nasty is this weather today? It's pouring with rain here and is all dark!

Anyone else testing this weekend?

Cariad2014 · 21/02/2015 13:58

Huge congratulations on all the BFPs - what a fabulous day on this bus.

Juney - I don't want to get your hopes up too much, but at 5dpo it could be an implantation dip (although this would be very early for implantation). Hang on in there my lovely.

mrsb0710 · 21/02/2015 14:17

Congrats to all the BFPs! Here's hoping they all start to roll in now.

We've managed to DTD twice today, poor DH bet he wished he did overtime now!

dojo123 · 21/02/2015 14:35

Congrats to all the BFPs this morning. It's been a busy day.

Sorry to hear of all of you suffering from either depression or MH issues. My mum is on AD and has been for the past 18 month. I have filled out one of those questionnaires but no follow up. My DH asks me not to bottle up anything and let him know when things get too much, but sometimes I find it difficult to express what my frustration/anger/sadness is to do with.
I do seem to be on the verge of tears most of the time, but what I found weird was just before my BPF and subsequent AF at the beginning of Feb, my hormones leveled. I wasn't teary, in fact I felt almost emotionless.

CD18, 4DPO I think and i'm bored. Too early to symptom spot... but my face is a little more spotty so maybe...
I've attached my chart as I have no idea what it all means, but it looks quite pretty...

Anyone have any plans this evening? Tonight we're staying in but I am going bowling tomorrow, haven't been in about 5 years so will probably be useless. do you think a 32 year old can have the bumpers?

AF has arrived a couple of days early which means we are not going to have enough time to take off work in March to go to Czech for our ivf and will have to wait until April instead. Just been sobbing to dh it doesn't feel as though we are ever going to get there Sad
