Lots of EWCM this morning, so I just did an OPK. Got this! Yes. Just sent DH a message telling him that we need to get it on! Next 3 days??

abroads and juney in due AF or bfi on the 1st. I'm planning to test even though I know I don't stand a chance this month. Sigh. Will be cheering you ladies on though.

Hairstylisttoboris · 20/02/2015 17:14

My typing is bad (on phone, typing under desk - subtle) but you get the drift...!

It's friday. It's home time. Thank the Lord for weekends.,

eskimolaura · 20/02/2015 17:16

Aww, bus is fairly quiet today isn't it? I posted this morning and have been out with my mum all day shopping. We went past an outdoor market and she saw some baby grows (really cute little knitted ones) and said 'Aww, now when am I going to get some grand children, so I can start buying things like this?' I bit my lip; haven't even told her we have started TTC and she thinks my two dogs the closest she's going to get. I'm happy to let her believe that...

Still no sign of AF. Purdey you are right, it's a nightmare not knowing when I am going to start. I really thought everything was going in the right direction this month, with the positive opks and the CM and this week, the cramps and everything, but AF just seems really reluctant to appear. It's not even a day late yet though, so I need to stop worrying. It's really hard not to stress about it, but if I ovulated on the Sat 7th Feb, or Sun 8th Feb, then it's not late yet is it? Or even Monday 9th, as I got EWCM then. Right now, I would love for AF to show, and that doesn't get said often on these threads. Came off the pill in November and had no period for two months, so went to the docs and got some Norethisterone.

Nothing for it but to sit tight.

Hi, I've been sent an appointment for a US pelvis trans abdominal and transvaginal scan. Would this be the scan for the Fallopian tubes or is that something different?

Pikz · 20/02/2015 17:20

Spinning that will do the lot... Tubes, lining etc

spinningirl10 · 20/02/2015 17:21

Oh thanks Pikz, I was supposed to phone this week and make the appointment but I've had ds home on half term and haven't done it. Ooh it's only a couple of weeks away. Will it be internal?

aenor · 20/02/2015 17:26

Re EWCM - in a normal cycle (ending with AF) oetrogen drops after OV, so you shouldn't have any, except just before AF when the progesterone drops and all there is is oestrogen.

But if you google charts of hormones during pregnancy the oestrogen climbs at the same rate as progesterone after implantation, and there have been women who have therefore got EWCM in the tww and got a BFP, because of this.

So I guess it depends just how far along the tww you are. If you are nearly at AF it's a sign AF is approaching I'm afraid.

Pikz · 20/02/2015 17:31

Spinning I would say definitely. Most are :)

mrscatmad31 · 20/02/2015 17:37

small amount of creamy white discharge the last few days, that's good right? Hmm
due AF next Wednesday
oh this ttc is a lot of waiting around isn't it, lol!

spinningirl10 · 20/02/2015 17:51

Thanks Pikz Smile

PurdeyBirdie · 20/02/2015 17:58

I agree with aenor (who I wish would post more often) Smile

Mrscat, I've had creamy discharge every single day of my 2ww. I am at 10dpo. Believe me...I'm not preggo. But it doesn't mean you're not Smile I don't think you can treat any manner of 2ww discharge as a pregnancy symptom; I don't think it means owt

Spinning, how exciting! I love internal examinations. Knowledge is power, right? You're even closer to getting your baby. I 'm not being glib when I say that; when I had my lap & dye the news afterwards was a shock (I had an irreparably blocked tube and some minimal endo). But I now knew the hand I had been dealt and how to continue play. It feels empowering to be told exactly what it - or isn't - going on in your body. Stay positive, my love Thanks

PurdeyBirdie · 20/02/2015 18:04

*is! Dammit!

Why is it quiet on here? I hope no-one's flung 'emselves off t'top o' t'bus Hmm

What's for tea, ladies? I've made mulligatawny again (or 'mullingitover' as th'usbnad likes to repeatedly make mirth about Hmm)

eskimolaura · 20/02/2015 18:10

I am currently having a bread roll / cake / bun / barn / bap swathed in lashings of Nutella. It's tea time (dinner time in some places), I have just got in from a shopping trip, DH is at work, I am too lazy to cook for one and there is nothing in the house anyway. I feel that all of these factors justify the first statement.

mummyofonesofar · 20/02/2015 18:22

Thanks aenor I guess as I am 7dpo it could be a good sign.

Tis very quiet! We are having salmon, new pots & salad for dinner. Got a stupid electric grill through and salmon is taking an age. Stupid rural place with no gas!!! Angry

It is OH's birthday so having his friend and wife over for a few drinks. I'll be eating ice cream instead again Smile

mrscatmad31 · 20/02/2015 18:32

Thanks Purdey, you are always the voice of reason :-)
Much less mental this cycle, havent got my hopes up and have a bottle of cider for tonight as obviously im not pregnant Wink

MsAR · 20/02/2015 18:34

I'm still here. Lurking mostly and hoping that more of you lovely ladies get your bfps too. These threads were so useful to read through whenever I felt down about the arrival of AF. It helps to know others are there to share the ups and downs.

Hairstylisttoboris · 20/02/2015 18:38

We have cottage pie and then jelly and ice cream (half term feeding dsc).
Now my step kids expect pudding every meal. Is this really something families do?? As kids, We didn't get pudding every meal, sometimes fruit but rarely anything more exciting but they expect it every main meal. It really adds hassle to my meal planning .
