toots I'm pretty sure can see a line if I squint Smile save your wee and test again tomorrow!

ThePug · 20/02/2015 09:39

Toots When I've seen other threads with people posting 'is there a line' I can never usually see anything but I can definitely see a faint pink line on yours! I'm sure I've read on other forums that people suffered cold-like symptoms in the early days too.

11DPO here, I am now itching to test having said I'd wait til Sunday. I found a website which gave stats from real pregnancies of what result they got on each DPO. At 10DPO, 33% got a false negative (ie they tested negative but went on to get a BFP later), at 11DPO 21.6% and at 12DPO 17.3%. So those figures are what's keeping me from grabbing my one & only hpt in the house now!

Nomio230 · 20/02/2015 09:42

Sounds good, knit. Like you say, it is better to know for definite. I know it is still frustrating not being pg, but you are lucky that you are both young and have plenty of time to keep trying.

Paddington, sounds exciting. Fx for you.

Babs, minions is great! I don't mind being called that.

babsbunny · 20/02/2015 09:49

Right best do some work, although I've worked my 38 hrs in 4 days this week, what's an extra days work huh? Confused

tootsroots · 20/02/2015 09:50

Thanks ladies! - you are right to answer me cautiously - it is so faint it could be evap too. I really didn't think about correct dpo timing , you don't notice it so much when irregular lengthy cycles are happening- it was more was missing peeing on opks as I did that several times a day from cd10 to 43 so wasn't honestly expecting anything and it was partly to get rid of it /to let me have Lemsip- ugh now I have wasted it and need to buy more... And still unsure about lemsip !!

Might wait till Sunday though like you. Disciplined lot you all are!!! Drinking water and crossing legs angelically til then ? yeah right am going out now to buy more for tomorrow

LadyStark · 20/02/2015 10:02

Toots, I can see it. Fingers crossed for you.

dojo123 · 20/02/2015 10:05

toots I had a really nasty cold in January (along with tonsillitis) and I avoided Lemsip because of the decongestant. There are some cheaper own brands which are ok but I just stuck to paracetamol and honey and lemon hot drinks while I was still unsure if I was pg.

pulpi · 20/02/2015 10:40

AF got me this morning, which explains yesterday's sore breasts, insomnia, crabbiness, general lowness, and cramping.

Good gods, if PMS is already this brutal, there's no way I'm not going to notice a severe uptick in symptoms when I do finally get pregnant. I'll likely become some fire-breathing bloated dragon-woman clutching Cadburys and Tunnocks in each hand and the whole thing will be so obvious and horrific that DH will run for the hills.

juneybean · 20/02/2015 10:40

Argh so FF Dr decided after today's temp that i ovulated Sunday so I changed Mondays temp to a lower one and it changed ovulation to Monday... I just think if I peaked at 3pm Sunday I can't have ovulated that same day?!

spinnin I loved being pregnant but did suffer with 3 months morning sickness, weirdly in 2nd trimester.

Toots I am not sure at all - try again tomorrow with frer and fmu.

Juney - Sorry no idea!

I am very confused here - have a load of ewcm - more than I had around ov time Confused anyone experienced this?

dojo123 · 20/02/2015 11:52

Mummyofone what CD day are you? I'm CD17 and experiencing alot of ewcm today. Thinking of DTDing tonight just incase.

mummyofonesofar · 20/02/2015 12:11

Cd25 7dpo

dojo123 · 20/02/2015 12:29

Mummy I'm sorry I dunno. [mmm]

dojo123 · 20/02/2015 12:30

Hmm not [mmm]

PurdeyBirdie · 20/02/2015 12:36

Toots, I couldn't see it, but I'm bitter and blind to others' good fortune.

Knit have you been TTC for five months or am I thinking of someone else?

Here is my chart. You wouldn't think I had a prog score of 122.5 on Tuesday, would you? Pathetic. The usual unremarkable shite. Sick of it Sad

marking my place....cant believe how much you all talk!!

I love rubbing my bump ive waited such a long time to be pregnant im trying to enjoy it!

PurdeyBirdie · 20/02/2015 12:45

EWCM = high levels of oestrogen. Which is the opposite of what's supposed to happen in the 2ww Hmm Mind you, I've seen pregnancy charts where there has been episodes of ewcm post-ov

Juney, I noticed you removed the uber-high temp. Fing is, it matters nor when FF think you ov'd; you timed them bad boys perfectly. It's rubbish, though, when you can't be confident in your own mind when you ov'd. I agree with you, too, that a surge at 3pm could not have resulted in ov that same day.

I've been to the GP this morning. Apparently I'm postnatally depressed. No shit, Sherlock. It doesn't help that my husband has lost his job, we are poorer than White Dee and our baby broke her collarbone two days ago. I used to think: 'If only I could have me a baby. Just one. A little baby would define me; it's what I'm supposed to be - a mum. Everything will be rockin' when I have a baby.'

PurdeyBirdie · 20/02/2015 12:46

*not!

juneybean · 20/02/2015 12:51

Ohh purdle cheer up me old mucker, you've got a gorgeous bambino and you're an awesome person, I'd be glad to call you a friend if we knew each other in real life.

Are they offering halp for the pnd?

OP posts:
mummyofonesofar · 20/02/2015 12:55

Purdey Should I be worried then? Or just see what happens?

Hairstylisttoboris · 20/02/2015 14:19

purdey interesting about the EWCM and oestrogen. How quickly after OV would oestrogen dry up/reduce? just wondering how quickly EWCM should disappear after ov?
Sorry to hear you have pnd - given everything it's not surprising. Hope you can keep it controlled? Have you ever though of becoming a life coach? You'd be bloody brilliant and you'd make a bob or two.

PurdeyBirdie · 20/02/2015 15:16

Oof, your comments nearly made me cry, Juney and Boz. Thanks for being lovely.

Mummy & Bozzzer, this from FF:

Why do I have egg white cervical fluid after I have already ovulated?

'Some cervical fluid after ovulation is possible because the corpus luteum, though its main function is to produce progesterone, produces estrogen in small amounts. This may cause you to see some fertile-looking cervical fluid, even after ovulation.

If your temperatures and other signs show clearly that you have already ovulated, then you can be confident that you are no longer fertile. It is also not uncommon to confuse semen and eggwhite or watery cervical fluid. Some women also notice some fertile-looking cervical fluid just before menstruation.'

mummyofonesofar · 20/02/2015 15:18

I have logged it with FF and now have the attached notes. Been through charts and looks like a 50/50 split between it ending with AF or BFP so crossing fingers.
