Bfp on cd10?!

Hi ladies,
So I posted on the 9th feb asking why on earth my cervix was soft as anything during AF and wondered if I was ovulating during AF.
Just took a hpt at the same time as my Opk because I am a POASaholic and there is a faint pos?!
Please tell me you can see it, came up within maybe 3 minutes on a cheap test from Home Bargains. I'm so confused...I must have ovulated during AF right? Had a BFN yesterday...

Also I had EWCM during Af, the only time during my entire cycle...it was only a light 3 day bleed where I am normally 7 and heavyish. But surely if it was an implantation bleed it would have shown sooner?

I'd do a FRER test to be sure

FRER tests are no more sensitive than a lot of other tests and I don't think further testing will help you right now tbh. Not straight away anyway. If you are getting v faint tests, it's best to leave it a few days and try again with whatever test is readily available (Home Bargains is fine if that's what you have).

There could be any number of things going on. It is possible to ovulate during your period of course though not very common.

Are you saying that you ovulated 10 days ago which happened to be during your period or your period started 10 days and you think you ovulated on day 1 of your cycle? I'm a bit confused by your timings tbh.

Are your cycles regular? Was your period at the expected time?

I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the first day of my period. I've been checking my cervix and it was stupidly soft and more open than I've ever felt it with EWCM which I haven't had until then. Had two BFNs since then so wondering if it was just dye run! My cycle isn't regular yet since nexplanon removal but I am confident in cervical checking so in quite certain of what I felt just unsure of what it meant. I have ordered some opk's from eBay just incase it was dye run and hopefully will settle into a more regular cycle as time goes on.

Your cervix will be open when your period starts though, so why are you assuming you ovulated then?

I've read it's normally low hard and open during af and soft open and high during ovulation?

It's unlikely you ovulated on the first day of your cycle. The beginning of your cycle is when the egg is maturing. It could possibly have been ovulation spotting? It is normal to get ewcm during your period because ewcm is the result of estrogen.

It was just purely the fact I got a second line 10 days later really when I take a hpt every day as still unsure of my cycle. Nevermind...

Possibly ovulation spotting. Just seemed like a period, was heavy enough for pads and lasted three days just not as heavy as normal. Watch and wait I suppose!
