Ovulation twice in 1 cycle / during period

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help.
I'm on my period and noticed that I have also been ovulating. I already ovulated 16 days ago. Making this the 2nd time this cycle.
I am charting my cycle as I prepare to get pregnant. I had a miscarriage a few years ago and am now about to have another go. I am 41 and wondering if this is connected.
I'm not quite sure which ovulation is now helpful to use.
It's important that I time it correct as I need to plan ahead.
Anyone else had this experience?

Can I ask what signs you have that you are ovulating now? I'm 11dpo and have a closed cervix but had ewcm again yesterday. I've also had ewcm during AF before but I don't ovulate again.

The clear mucus has been intermittent in this period.
Sorry I'm relatively new to this. What is ewcm and dpo?

egg white cervical mucus = ewcm
days post ovulation = dpo

I think that the mucus is just from hormones, I don't think you are ovulating again.

hormones can create the same ewcm?
