Just wondering what your very first indications were? It's way too early for me to test but I've got tender boobs which is not typical for me during my cycle and period type cramps, and again not typical for me.

I am probably clutching at a million straws but am interested in your experiences.

That's the spirit Nessie! Don't give up.. That sibling will be along soon I bet! Smile will keep wishing you baby dust..

Theendof I don't know what to say.. I'm sorry it wasn't the answer you wanted. I hope he understands when you explain the situ to him. Sending you big hugs. X

theendoftheendoftheend · 03/03/2015 18:01

Shocked. Just totally Shocked.

theendoftheendoftheend · 03/03/2015 18:04

Thanks roxy I'm so sorry this is totally not what this thread is about

LastOneDancing · 03/03/2015 18:14

theend I'm so sorry this wasn't the result you hoped for.

As for what the father thinks, all you can do is tell the truth. He knows one consequence of unprotected sex is babies and he didn't use a condom so you mustn't take the responsibility on your shoulders.

Roxybaby12 · 03/03/2015 18:32

Don't be silly, we're all here to support each other, never mind what thread its in.
Totally agree with lastonedancing and Nessie-he knew what the risks were! Not your fault if the morning after pill didn't work, I don't think its 100% effective anyway. Good luck and let us know how it goes. X

LastOneDancing · 03/03/2015 18:51

Absolutely what roxy said - this is a support thread, and we are all here if you need to talk Thanks

But - just so you know - there is a pregnancy choices topic hidden away in the 'body and soul' section which might have some useful information or people with more experience, if you think that would be helpful x

Paperblank · 03/03/2015 20:14

Theend the thread may have started in one way but the important thing is that it is somewhere we can have a chat.

How are you feeling?

Thanks all, you've been really kind. I just rang and told my mum. I know it's far from an ideal situation but, if a baby's on it's way then so be it!

How's everyone else doing?

Nessie100 · 03/03/2015 20:33

At least you have your mum to talk to bout it, I was worried you might not have someone you could chat to tonight. Xx

tammie49 · 03/03/2015 20:46

Oh my goodness. I feel terrible hijacking this thread now. I just read back through your posts and am so glad that you have your mum to talk to.

As for me (sorry!) This is the first cycle I've been able to chart properly. I ov'd on cd13 and am now 8dpo. I'm really crampy just now and my temp dipped yesterday and back up again today. Periods have been light and a bit all over the place since I stopped BC over a year ago. Last cycle was 18 days and I assume I didn't ov. So, Dr has sent me for a blood test which I'm going for tomorrow. Would that pick up pg? Anyone else had cramps at 8dpo?

theendoftheendoftheend · 03/03/2015 20:56

My mum's great, i didn't want to tell her but once i realised there's no way i could face an abortion i thought i might as well. Ex is being suprisingly upbeat too. And having been to a friend's little boys birthday yesterday the DC have decided they want a brother! Who knows they might just get their wish!

theendoftheendoftheend · 03/03/2015 21:08

tammie sorry i didn't see your post, but with each pregnancy I've been crampy to the point of expecting my period and wondering where it was, biggest sign though has always been tiredness in the evening and waking up very early, sore boobs and slight queasiness all very early on. Have you got any other symptoms?

LastOneDancing · 03/03/2015 21:12

Sounding good theend! I'm so pleased for you - Congratulations! Smile

Hi tammie I think your bloods can indicate you're pregnsnt but I guess that's what they would have to be looking for? I'm on 8dpo too.

Beingcs total nobber, I did a cheeky test today - waiting til I missed AF went really well Confused .
It was, of course a big fat negative, but as uts SO early plus it was a really crappy, not very sensitive, 99p for 3 effort I'm declaring myself not out yet.
I still keep feeling sick, and not even after chocolate.

Roxybaby12 · 03/03/2015 21:26

Theendof I too am so pleased u have your mum and it's also good that ex is being good about it! I fell preggers years a go by accident and was too young to keep it (sorry if anyone is against abortion) I had no choice and all my mum said was 'so'! Good luck here's to a happy and healthy 9 months! Grin

Hi Tammi, welcome on board, I am currently about 7/8 days late for AF although wasn't ttc but would be happy to be preggers! I have been cramping everyday since spotting a couple of days before af was due! Still get BFN.. Aching boobs, tired etc.. But have a 10 month old so could be the reason for tiredness.. HCG doubles every 2 days so maybe get some Internet cheapies from ebay or keep going with will power and wait til you're at least 14/15dpo. Smile Fx

Roxybaby12 · 03/03/2015 21:27

Oh and LASTONE it ain't over til Af sings! Grin

tammie49 · 03/03/2015 21:36

hey. thanks for the responses. I have some Internet cheapies but I'm resisting the temptation as will get blood results Thursday hopefully. been really hungry today and felt a bit quesy. my boobs are sore per se but they kinda hurt/ache. all v annoying but time will tell. bloods was just planned on cd21 to check levels all normal as been off any sort of contraception for a year now.

theend - I am so glad things are looking up for you. take care.

ozymandiusking · 03/03/2015 21:41

I looked in the mirror getting ready for work, and I thought oh! you look nice,
your skin looks gorgeous this morning.
Then I thought, my God I'm pregnant! Then I realised how tired I'd been after being on duty.

Roxybaby12 · 03/03/2015 21:53

Well guess who just turned up at my door?? Yep-Aunt Flo herself..
Oh the irony!! Lol. So I'm out! Good luck to everyone who is waiting and trying. Hope to catch up with you all. DH doesn't wanna 'officially' start ttc for a couple of month. Much luck and health to all. Xx

Nessie100 · 03/03/2015 22:03
