I don't usually stress like this but we are having fertility treatment this month and it's important to know when I'm going to ovulate.
I had a scan yesterday and the follicle was 12mm by 17mm - they think I will be ok until Thursday. However I always ovulated day 12 which would be tomorrow. This is my opk this morning, the line nearest the green end is the control line. I know they should be the same darkness to be positive but there's not much in it is there??

What do you think? Would you count this as positive?

Is this opk positive?

Nope, that's definitely a negative.

Hmm... I know nothing about these strips (have just started a thread on one myself!). I got lines last night and this morning- they were a little stronger than these. Maybe LH is building up in your body?

Could you not drink anything now and do a test in 2 hours time. See if it's stronger?

Hopefully someone more clued up than me will need along soon to assist! Good luck

Absolutely not a positive. You may get your true surge tonight or the morning and then you will ov 24-36 hrs later.

Notmymuse · 17/02/2015 10:30

I am worried that I will get my surge overnight. They want to trigger me Thursday night - I'm worried this will be too late. This is a natural cycle I'm not on any other medication

Oops no they want to trigger me tomorrow night.
I'm getting ovulation pain. I'm pretty certain I will ovulate before tomorrow night.

It looks negative to me. Are you sure you always ovulate on day 12?

Isithappening · 17/02/2015 10:40

I get ovulatin pain 3-4 days before actual ovulation. The pain can be due to the follicle ripening rather than the egg emerging.

Notmymuse · 17/02/2015 11:05

99% of the time. Day 12 is tomorrow.

Ok I got a smiley face one and it's negative but I still think it will be positive by this evening.
I have a scan at 11am tomorrow morning and then if told to will take the trigger injection, I'm just really hoping I don't ovulate by 11am tomorrow! If the ovulation stick is negative at the moment I should be ok for 24 hours right?
The fact it's nearly positive shows me from experience that it probably will only be a matter of hours before it turns completely positive.

The stick doesn't look nearly positive to me but then my lines would be that dark all month long and much darker around ovulation time. Keeping my Fingers crossed that you don't ovulate before tomorrow.
