Any ovulation test gurus about?

So I've been poas (ovulation tests) since cd7 at 2pm every day. Yesterday (8pm as I had been at work) cd13 I got my first line although wasn't as strong as the test line it was clearly visible. I've just poas again and the line is as strong if not stronger. So... When do I ovulate? Have I ovulated already and the LG is still in my body? I didn't dtd last night- have I missed out this month.

Also last month my cycle was only 23 days - previous 2 cycles were 25 days. Does this mean I have a crappy short luteal phase?

Apparently you ovulate within 24 hrs of a positive opk. To be honest I'm not sure how accurate this is! My line never got as dark as the control as far as I can remember. You can buy the more expensive clearblue ovulation test which gives you a smaller window of opportunity with the hope it might be more accurate... They are a bit pricey tho.

Best thing is to try and DTD every other day if it's possible...then you should be covered...so to speak...
